We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on their expansive patio. The weather was perfect & the views, glorious. Our food was very well prepared. The shrimp cocktail was perfect, so tasty. The mixed seafood salas had fresh ingredients & was delicious. The portions were large but as it was all so good, we almost finished everything. Our shared desert ended a wonderful meal. Our server was friendly, helpful & efficient. I look forward to a return visit!

Sequoia DC was truly impressive. From the exquisite cuisine, the impeccable service, and the beautiful views from the outdoor seating this is a must for a Saturday or Sunday brunch. The Endless Selection Brunch menu showcased a variety of dishes. From classic favorites like chicken and waffles, and shrimp and grits to new favorites like country ham fried rice. The staff was friendly, attentive and ensured that our overall experience was a memorable one by providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I honestly cannot recommend Sequoia DC enough for a fantastic dining experience. If you are fortunate enough to go on a beautiful day make sure you sit outside to enjoy the views of the water. The menu changes per season right now they have a Summer Sangria that is a must try.

An amazing waterfront restaurant! Attended my birthday here and was absolutely amazed! Service was wonderful and the restaurant was a nice environment with a great view. Our food was spectacular, the calamari, oysters and our entrees were delicious! The sangria hit the spot as well. I would recommend this restaurant to all !!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for weekend brunch. Went for the Saturday tapas brunch. It was pretty good, but the options were a little underwhelming. I’ve heard great things about their buffet on Sunday’s, but I have to say if you plan to come here for brunch, just skip Saturday. The food was coming out consistently and most of it was served fresh and warm (with the exception of the oysters and shrimp). The breakfast potatoes are too mushy and I was wishing they were a bit crispier. The brioche French toast was divine!! Probably the best dish on the menu. The brioche was perfectly caramelized. The rib sliders were good but not amazing. They did come out cold too. They had the champagne going too and were consistently refilling our glasses. I just wish the food had more flavor and there were better options.

Our daughter always loved Sequoia for milestone occasions while growing up. She’s now 23 and wanted to go there on a trip home. We hadn’t been in years so were eager to go but were overall disappointed with our meal in comparison with our bill. Our food was mediocre at best; it was bland no seasoning. The presentation was nice and our waiter was extremely good but that it. The dining area was also very cold. It’s not the Sequoia we remember.

On Sunday the only option is the brunch menu that costs $85 plus taxes (~92) per person. It has all kind of food. Beverages like coffee and champagne are included. Be careful about time because after two hours the waiter didn’t give us more coffee!!!, that was very annoying because he didn’t explained us and we lost time without ask for more beverages. He only said that after two hours after the reservation we couldn’t have more drinks. JUST A CUP OF CoFFee please…nothing happened. What is a cup of cofee if you are paying $92?!!!

We went for my mom’s birthday for the Saturday Tapas Brunch and really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent. We loved the fact that you could order endless small plates for the table. We pretty much tried everything, and everything was great. Children are half off, and my kids especially loved the pancakes and French toast. It was a win for all. The drinks were bottomless, which also makes it worth it. Parking is easy in the garage.

Sequoias food was 5 star and once you get a table, the service is first class. You cannot not pick a wrong starter or entree. Highly recommend the bluefin tuna poke.
