My hopes were very high for this place because of the good reviews……well boy was I wrong. I’m not very sure how this place has such good reviews because what I experienced was the opposite. For starters is the pricing. for a regular bacon and cheese burger i paid $12, and it was a normal size burger it wasnt even big, like small to be honest. Second is the fries, for a small fries its $7, and they say its for 2 people which it is a lot of fries but you have no other option if you are eating alone, so you’re pretty much paying $7 to finish half the bag, that is if you even get to it because the fries were not good at all. And third is the milkshake, for a small milkshake its also $7….. and boy is it not worth it. So now onto the taste part, the burger was not special, i got the bbq bacon and cheeseburger and they just drenched the burger in bbq sauce so all you taste is bbq sauce and nothing else. The fries were dry, i got the garlic fries and they were hard, some pieces were soft but majority were dry and just not good. And last but not least the milkshake, i got an oreo milkshake and it wasnt even thick, it was watery and just tasted like milk, barely any oreo taste, probably the worst shakes ive tried. Overall it was very dissapointing, i cam during lunch so everything should be fresh right? Overall a 4/10 experience. Not worth it you can get a better experience at in n out.

No nonsense burger joint. Dirty tables but amazing burgers. I’ll definitely be back real soon. Indoor/outdoor seating options. So many fries in a small fry. Pounds of potato.

Best burger and fries my 40 year old mouth ever tasted. It’s worth driving from Santa Rosa for!

After 3 tries it’s not a fluke. They close at 7 pm on summer evenings. They are slow as molasses. Burgers are nothing special. A 12 oz milkshake is $6.50! It feels like a cub scout project.

Old-fashioned hole-in-the-wall with one of if not the best burgers in the county. Pretty much a mandatory stop for when when I’m in town for work. You’re note there for the atmosphere, you’re there for the burger. I like the Ortega Burger.

Phone orders can be frustrating to accomplish at times. Food isn’t terrible & was our go-to local burger spot, particularly for the full bag of fries. After they reduced the size of the large fry by 50-70%, we stopped going. The fries brought us in, now there’s less incentive.

Great burger! They have a vegetarian option for the patty too. Poor service. I don’t think it was that kid’s best day. But the burgers were great and 1 side of fries is PLENTY for 2-4 people.
