We were aware of the hype of the New Haven location and had to try the Black Rock location for Valentine’s Day. The ambiance in there is beautiful. We loved the shrimp and pork dumpling special and the beef fried rice. I thought the pad Thai was average but I’m excited to come back and try other dishes. We will definitely be back!

Food is very important to me and I travel far and wide to experience quality cuisine. I found September in Bangkok through a friend who also admires good food. I have not been disappointed yet in any of the aspects of this place. The food I ordered was excellent and it was delivered by people who appreciate what they are doing. The staff was friendly, well trained and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable having idol chat with everyone in the restaurant and I will regularly. I highly recommend trying this place. I was also told that there is another September In Bangkok in New Haven, I will surely visit soon.

They recently opened up their second location in Connecticut and the food was just as good as the one in New Haven. The decor was beautiful throughout entire restaurant very spacious. It is byob right now but liquor store was right across street so it was fine. Would recommend anyone to come try to it best Thai food in CT

recently visited September in Bangkok Thai Restaurant in Fairfield, CT, and was thoroughly impressed! The melon mango salad was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor — a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. The Tom Yum fried rice was equally delicious, with that signature Thai blend of spice and citrus that tasted authentic and comforting.
The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. You can really tell they take pride in serving true Thai flavors. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes — highly recommend!

My husband and I were counting down the minutes for this place to open and it was worth the wait. The crab fried rice is just as good as their New Haven location. Their seafood Kari was delicious. The servers were so sweet. Highly recommend!

I am ridiculously lucky to live in a neighborhood with great food — and our newest addition, September in Bangkok, just raised the bar.
My friend Ms. J and I went last Friday, right after they opened. No liquor license yet — but there’s a liquor store literally across the street, so honestly… problem very creatively solved. The vibe inside is beautiful and festive, and the service was impeccable, especially impressive for a brand-new spot.
Now, the food.
This is where I get picky.
I’m a good cook, and I only give glowing reviews to places that serve food I cannot make better at home. This place qualifies.
I had the Pad Thai, and it was fantastic. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and all the layers of flavor were there — salty, sweet, just the right amount of spice. The fresh crunchy peanuts, cilantro, and radishes took it over the top. The portion was generous enough to become my lunch the next day… and I’m happy to report it was still delicious after being microwaved, which is the true test.
Ms. J, ordered the Chicken Massaman Curry and OMG — an absolute explosion of flavor. It comes with a gorgeous purple rice, which the very sweet waitress explained is colored naturally with a purple flower. She even offered to show us the flower!
Good food brings people together, and you could feel it in the room — tables talking to each other, sharing what they ordered, that happy buzz that only happens when everyone is eating well.
Go. Eat. Enjoy.
