Seoul Taco is a beautiful venue with quick, efficient service. I liked the fast-casual style, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating with sauces, even though they didn’t have habanero. The other salsa options were good.

The tacos and kimchi were a bit underwhelming for the price, but the food was still okay. It feels more like a spot you go to for the aesthetic and quick grab-and-go experience rather than standout food. Overall, I loved the interior style and the concept.

Pork tacos were
Flavor profile on point and that sauce did what it needed to do. Cute vibe, fast service, and definitely a repeat every time I’m in Chicago. Staff takes a minute to warm up, but once they do, the experience gets better. Worth it.

This is some of the worst fusion tacos I’ve had. I ordered the 3 seoul tacos sampler, the korean fried chicken, and the elote. The tacos were almost inedible. It was HEAVILY seasoned and overly salty for tacos. I could see how it would taste well with rice or something to tone down the flavors. However, in just the taco, the marinade and sauces were overwhelming. The korean fried chicken was just OK. I had better chicken at other korean restaurants. Some of the pieces were just batter and not chicken though. The elote was probably the worst. It was all cheese and sauce with no corn, all salt. My partner and I got a stomach ache afterwards. Personally, I would not return to this restaurant.

I visited Seoul Taco on a quiet night. The service was efficient and fast. The restaurant has a simple concept that absolutely works. The quesadilla I ordered was very tasty and spicy! Loved it! The tofu burrito my husband ordered was almost too spicy for him but he finished it anyway! That says a lot!

Seoul Taco is great. I had the 3 taco meal and got one steak, one pork, and one chicken taco. They were delicious. The atmosphere is laid back, the staff is friendly, and the service was quick. Highly recommend!

Korean/Mexican mash-up, most delicious, unique burritos and tacos I’ve ever had. We had a pork burrito and a taco sampler (1 pork, 1 chicken, 1 steak), pork taco was the best. Sweet and spicy, not too much of either. Trying to figure out where the delicious flavor in each bite comes from but you can’t because it’s such an awesome combination. All of the menu options come with either pork, chicken or tofu for your protein, you can add bulgogi steak for $2 or $3 depending on which item you choose. It’s a simple menu, 7 main choices and they do have about 8 different sides. Clean bathrooms, free water cups, friendly staff, really nice ambiance for a little place, nice decoration (paintings, old boomboxes, old ceiling tiles) and lighting. Very highly recommend. Zero complaints. The prices are fair for what you get too, especially downtown. I barely ever write food reviews either but this place earned it.

This place is great! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was really nice. They were really nice to my children. One of my kids did not like the tacos they ordered. They made them a chicken quesadilla on the house we expected to pay for it and they gave it to her for free. Totally unexpected! Highly recommend this place.

I recently visited this Korean-Mexican fusion spot and was impressed by the unique flavors. The tacos were a highlight—especially the chicken and pork, which were more flavorful than the steak. The price was great, and the tacos were packed with flavor, though I wish they had included a bit more meat and less large pieces of lettuce.

The tofu bowl was generous in portion size—I actually ended up tossing about a 1/4 cup of rice because it was so filling. The spiciness was just right, and I appreciated that the tofu was cut into small pieces, making it easy to eat.

The kimchi side was absolutely a 10/10. It was incredibly flavorful—so good that I could snack on it any day.

However, the cleanliness of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t too busy, so we were unsure why there was trash on the seating areas, crumbs and soda spilled on the seats, and the floor was sticky and wet. This definitely took away from the overall experience.

Overall, a great spot for a fusion food fix!

Seoul Taco is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner David and GM Virginia is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing Korean Mex fusion with tacos incorporated into it. Definitely come back. 10/10.

I had been coming here since they opened this location almost ten years. But I was back in the area after not stopping by since pre pandemic. I only get the burritos here, and they’re great. Some people prefer less or no rice in their burrito, and i actually think the rice is a strength of the Seoul Taco burrito. It’s mixed with gochujang or other Korean flavors, and i could eat a whole bowl of it if the restaurant has such an offering. The mixed rice is so flavorful that i didn’t really care what the paired protein is. Glad to see ST still doing it’s thing after all these years.
