No frills, just great food served in big portions by very sweet and welcoming owners. We had the shumai,, seafood pancake and ban ban chicken, which for two people would have easily fed us twice. I’m a sucker for fried chicken and this did not disappoint. Not even close. It came out hot from the kitchen, perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. We tried all 3 flavors and I highly recommend doing so if it’s your first time visiting. The Korean pancake was huge and served with a delicious dipping sauce as did the human. We were kindly offered house made kimchi which had great flavor despite being the mildest I’ve had in terms of heat. My only disappointment was not realizing they have Soju.
I will definitely be back and next time with friends to share this hidden gem (and so I can try more dishes!)

This place was amazing. Run by a fantastic older Korean people I can safely assume it is very authentic. The service was just as amazing as the food. We tried a little bit of everything including the dumplings and seaweed salad as a starter. The dumplings are over the top delicious. We also got the spicy sushi combo. It was good but not a stand out. We also got the chicken stew entrée (dak doritang)for two and an order of the ban ban Korean fried chicken to go. Both were awesome! We will definitely be back and bring friends.

Very great hosts. I felt like I was visiting family except somehow my family knew how to cook really well. Had the Ban Ban chicken and Korean pancakes. Both were way better than my expectations. Highly recommend

Lovely feel to this place, very friendly bartender who served us. We don’t live close by, but hopped over there after dropping my MIL at BWI, to wait out sitting in traffic, and it did not disappoint! Food arrived quickly and was fresh and hot. My japchae was one of the best I had in my life. The food pictured below was for two adults, and we took half of everything home. Ban ban chicken with garlic, and the pancake was a seafood pancake, with one of the best dipping sauces to go with it.

Small place, but worth trying. The ban ban chicken was cooked perfectly, nice crunch and both flavors were great. The chicken pieces were all the chicken not just wings. The seafood pancake also was made fresh and cooked with a nice crunch. The cheese corn we tried just to see what it tasted like. It was ok not something I would get again. The atmosphere is chill and casual. Great place to meet up with friends and chat. Try it out if your into Korean food.

Amazing, friendly atmosphere with even better food. We drove from Annapolis to give this place a try and will without a doubt be coming back. It was super affordable too for the amount of food you receive. We got Terra beers, bulgogi, Korean fried chicken, and rice cakes.

Went here for my daughter’s birthday dinner because she loves korean food and it is just like what we have with my family get togethers. I had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. The portions are huge and we shared everything with four people (two kids and two hungry pre-teens). We got the Kimchi Pa Jun, dukboki (no cheese or fish cakes), Chicken Ban Ban in Korean sauce, bulgogi (comes with a bowl of rice), mandu, and the spicy sushi combination (3 rolls). I couldn’t believe how large the portions were! Everything was so flavorful and definitely reminded me of eating with my extended family when we had large get togethers. In addition to our order, we also got banchans (sides) of kimchi, potato, green beans, bean sprouts, and tofu. The server (maybe owner?) was so sweet and nice and reminded me of my aunts. The location is not right on 40 like the other restaurants in this area, but it’s not far off. The location wasn’t super busy with people (Wednesday night), but they seem to do well with takeout orders. Will definitely be back for some traditional korean food!

So… one of my friends randomly took me to this restaurant for chicken. I didn’t expect much but OMG!!! It was GOOD…. Since then, I’ve been regularly ordering chicken to go (ban ban chicken, half-garlic and half-spicy). Thus far, they have the best Korean-style friend chicken. If you guys haven’t tried one, you gotta try! The plus is, the owners are so sweet and kind. #양념치킨 #KoreanStyle.

This is our family’s go to place to celebrate with delicious Korean food! The owners are so nice and accommodating. Not a fancy place in decor but the amazing food and friendly service are top tier.

This unassuming place serves delectable, 100% authentic Korean “pub grub.” The friendly owners took the time to explain the menu. They also made sure we had plenty to drink and eat throughout our stay. Our orders came out of the kitchen quickly…and the food was DELICIOUS!
The plain fried chicken was a bit bland (we ordered it for the young kids…so it was perfect for them). However, anything that is seasoned I’d recommend. The owner brought a free “sampler platter” of condiments to our table midway through our meal. This sampler included kimchi. I lived in Korea for 6 months; Seoul Pub boasts the best kimchi I’ve ever tried. The kimchi is both mild and complex in flavor.
The prices here are also amazingly reasonable. We ate well and drank well, yet our total pre-tip (for a party of 8 adults) was under $200.
I’d highly recommend Seoul Pub for a night of great Asian food and drinks (the Soju is delicious).
