Delicious and authentic Korean food. Enjoyed the takoyaki, rose tteokboki, bolchidong, and the jjajangmyeon! I was feeling nauseous because of my pregnancy and the waitress was so kind and accommodating to me. The rest of my family enjoyed the beef brisket and bibimbap. Thank you for the excellent service!

I loveeee this place! If you’ve never had Korean Army Stew, you’re not doing it right. I’ve been a many times before (and food/service is always great) but this time we went we had Christine as our server. She was very complimentary, outgoing, and overall just great at her job!

We went to Seoul Pocha for a weeknight dinner and got seated super fast. The place was about half full, with K-pop music playing and music videos on the screens. You can sometimes hear the karaoke rooms, which was kinda funny but not too distracting. Portions here are huge and every dish could easily feed two or more people. The four of us ordered four dishes and still had enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

The spicy squid and pork bulgogi was one of my favorites. It came out sizzling and the sauce was really good. Just the right amount of spice for someone like me with low spice tolerance. It mixed really well with rice and had a good mix of larger and smaller pieces of pork and squid.

The eel rice bowl was just okay. The eel itself had a lot of tiny bones, which made it annoying to eat, and I wished the rice had that crispy clay-pot texture. There was also a lot of onion and only 2–3 pieces of eel, and the rice was a bit mushy.

The spicy jjamppong was insanely spicy but really flavorful. My cousin, who puts hot sauce on everything, inhaled it. The broth was delicious, and the bowl was huge. I could only handle a few bites since it was too spicy for me, but if you love heat, this is the one to get.

The jajangmyeon is a must-order every time. Huge portion, super tasty, and the noodles were soft but not overcooked. Simple toppings but always hits the spot.

Only downside is that every dish has a ton of onions, but overall the food was good and portions were generous. Great spot for sharing plates with a group.

Loved the food. Great for Family style dining. Everything was delicious and just how we expected it. Best thing is the spicy pork belly.
Service was super sweet and good at explaining menu items

Great service from Josh, very attentive, helpful explaining menu, food served quickly, fairly generous portion sizes, nice balanced flavor, nothing was too sweet or salty. We got japchae and paduk chicken. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the sauces but the chicken itself was excellent with a great crispy fry without being oily and tasty flavoring without being super salty

My experience at Seoul Pocha was amazing. What really stood out was the service I received from my server, Christine. She was very friendly, patient, and helpful, and took the time to answer all of my questions before I decided what to order. I was interested in a few different menu items, and she explained each one clearly. I ended up ordering the takoyaki based on her help.

Throughout my meal, Christine made sure I was well taken care of. She consistently checked in to make sure everything was good and that I was enjoying my food. Her attention and professionalism really added to the overall experience.

The takoyaki came out very quickly and tasted amazing. It was fresh and hot. The restaurant also has a fun and comfortable atmosphere. Overall, Seoul Pocha offered a great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service.

So worth it. High quality. Got the black bean paste noodles and sizzling pork platter. We have leftovers for at least 2 more meals. Great price for the quality!

Service is outstanding, so friendly and helpful if you need or want recommendations. Server checked on me throughout my meal, and even had a conversation with me as I was dining alone, we had a great talk about several things. I love this place and come every time they’re open when I’m in Gainesville to see doctors!!!

Nice selection of authentic Korean dishes and drink. Seoul Chicken was crispy even with the sauce. Eel was well prepared and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and I imagine the energy would be fun late on weekends. Definitely a pub vibe

Food was good though a bit overpriced.
Main concern is the service. I was seated immediately after walking in, however it took a long wait to place my order. Receiving my food took even longer but I couldn’t even eat yet as I still had to wait for the sauces :/ It likely took around 45mins for everything so I can start eating. This occurred during late evening and they didn’t appear to be busy either so not sure what the hold up was.
I also received a to-go box which I accidentally left at the counter while I was paying the bill. I didn’t realize until I got to the car but immediately went back inside (<1min), only to find out that they had already thrown it away. I just think it’s odd how they were so quick to do that while it took forever for me to get my food…
