Social Profile:

We have replaced the former restaurant [buk-kyung2] and opened [Seoul Jangteo] in the same location. We invited a head chef of The Westin Chosun Hotel(5 star) all the way from Seoul to Boston to improve our recipes for our Chinese cuisine inspired Korean noodles such as Jjajangmyun, Jjambbong and tangsooyuk dishes that almost all Koreans love. One of our specialty and a must try menu is Pork Gukbap (translated as Broth-Rice). The rich broth from the pork bones is made from boiling for 12 hours and aged for another 12 hours before served into each quality bowls of Gukbap along with quality meat from different parts of the pork. Just try our Gukbap bowl and you might never have to search for the flavor we all have been missing from Korea.

Compact, bustling diner with classic Korean comfort food, plus soju, sake & beer.

Tried the beef bulgogi and Korean fried pork and both were amazing! The bulgogi came out sizzling, super tender and flavorful with just the right mix of sweet and savory. The fried pork was crispy but not greasy, and the veggies on top added a nice crunch. Portions were big and everything tasted fresh.

Delicious food and generous portions! The kimchi fried rice with egg was flavorful, the mapo tofu had a nice kick, and the crispy chicken was perfectly sauced. Friendly service and a cozy spot for a casual meal.

I had a tofu and vegetable bibimbap, I think the flavor was very mild, and there weren’t any vegan side dishes. Besides the spot is really good for food I think especially a place where you can calmly eat without feeling rushed. My friend had a beef bibimbap and she really liked that. It’s her favorite bibimbap spot!

I usually never write reviews, but this place needs improvement. Found hair in stir-fried seafood Jambong rice. This is not my first time finding hair in their food. I wonder how they passed health insepction.

We did a dine in and ordered crab rangoons and stir fried seafood with rice. We got rice and noodles by accident but it was a good bonus for us. The food was fresh and hot. Place started with two tables full and then within 30 mins the whole place got packed.

Relatively spacious and casual spot serving both Korean and Korean-Chinese comfort foods. We tried:

Ganpung Chicken Small– Not spicy at all; it actually reminded me of sesame chicken but with a lighter, crisper texture. Perfectly fried, flavorful, and so satisfying. Definitely a must-order.

Jjajangmyun – super yummy. I thought it was definitely above average and I’d come back for it. The onions were on the more raw side but I like it so it worked out. Comforting and spot-on.

We walked in at 5:30 and were immediately seated with lots of tables on a Friday. By the time we left, most tables were full with more people coming in. Street parking.
