Please tell me how people enjoy this place? I ordered two sandwiches 20 min before closing. I requested them both be “hot”. Why did I get a lukewarm lettuce sandwich? Like 90% of my falling apart bread was filled with lettuce and warm cream cheese.. if you are advertising a hot sandwich, I was expecting it to be toasted at least. I was not impressed at all. Very little meat and too much lettuce. I was planning on eating in my car but I had to stand outside and just let the thing fall apart in the parking lot. Probably better off going to Jersey Mikes.

Sensuous Sandwiches have to be my favorite sandwich joint in Utah. Fresh, soft bread, crisp cold vegetables, and high quality sandwich meats. Customer service is lovely as always, and I’ll be back again.

We absolutely love coming here and always always enjoy our food. Today 2/7/26 at 3 pm I went and ordered sandwiches like I always do for my pregnant wife and I. She got a tantalizer and I got a build your own with turkey chicken, hers also has turkey on it. A bout 1/4 way through my wife’s sandwich she started tasting what tasted like dirt (mold indication) she immediately spit it out and tried another bite and same thing. So she tried the other half of the sandwich and was able to eat half of it before it started tatting like dirt again. It was hard to narrow it down what was causing the taste because she has the works (pickles, peppers, onions, bananas peppers, cheese, lettuce etc) she stated trying bites of each thing and smelling them…. It was the turkey and it felt kinda slimy. She spit it out every time so we are hoping she does not get sick as we are already a high risk pregnancy. We called the store around 3:25 to taste test their turkey and throw it out! We didn’t want anything just to have it thrown out so that it doesn’t have the potential to make anyone else sick. This kinda ruined the shop for us even though it’s always been our favorite go to.

My husband loves this sandwich shop. He loves how they load the meat on. I on the other hand like a sub that you can get a bite without the bread crumbling and everything falling out as you bite.
The service was very friendly, there’s plenty of seating. It’s not the fanciest sub shop, but it’s been around for decades so that’s worth something.

The bread is really thin and my sandwich was already falling apart when I picked it up. The seats are not very comfortable. My roommate commented that her butt felt like it was falling off the bench.
The service was good! The person at the front counter was very nice!
Not the worst sandwich I’ve ever had but certainly not a sensual sandwich experience.
Ordered The Satisfier, warm, and added all the veggies.

I had the “spicy enticer.” The sandwich was mid. The meat was very good quality. I enjoyed the flavor of the sandwich but I’d describe my sandwich as being wet or sloppy. I know some people might enjoy that kinda thing, it’s just not for me. I think with different bread I might have liked it more. The staff were very kind and were very quick.

Pretty delicious sandwiches here and comparing it to other sandwich shops I feel like it has fresher ingredients. I like that they have a variety of sizes instead of just a 6 inch or a foot long. Overall I liked the space and they had plenty of seating but maybe not the best place for a party of more than four people.

I read so many great reviews about this place, so decided to check it out. The place looked little old fashioned and not very clean. However, the place was packed! We went during the lunch hour, they had a long line. So that means their food must be good, otherwise so many people won’t line up and wait, right??
The staff were super nice and efficient as the line actually moved pretty fast!
I ordered the Succulent Seafood Delight which is supposed to come with “Crab and assorted seafood with your choice of cheese.” I also asked for all the condiments/garnishes (like pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato, etc.) in my sandwich.
When the sandwich came, I was very disappointed! First of all, as soon as I unwrapped my sandwich I noticed the bread was absolutely falling apart….it was no longer a sandwich, more like bread pieces in salad pool! When I started eating it, 1/3 of the way I realized there were only 2 small size crab sticks (that tasted and look like imitation crab) underneath all the lettuce, tomatoes, etc. and nothing else! From their name, the Seafood Delight, I was at least expecting shrimp and crab…but there were only 2 tiny pieces of crab sticks.
So, unfortunately for me it felt like this place is all hyped and overpriced. Don’t think I’ll go back. Sorry!

Can’t believe this place has been around forever and I just now went there.
Ingredients were all fresh and high quality, the bread was soft and tasty, and the bread to meat ratio was fantastic.
Way less expensive than other chain sandwich shops.

Really good food. And I did the 48 Inch sandwhich where I ate 2 2.5 half pound sandwiches in 24 minutes. Which was 5 lbs of sandwich. The bread was delicious, and the meat. I went with the sensous, and the one with jalapenos. 3rd person 2 join the 48 incher club and did it under 30 minutes like Randy Santel. 3rd food challenge victory. And first on first try.
