You want some country soul food? This place is it. We were visiting our father at a therapy facility and found this restaurant to eat at. The food was outstanding. Our table top was a little sticky and they were a little short on staff, but the buffet style food was great. I would recommend you try them out if in Wallace, NC.

So we decided to stop and explore this hidden gem today for lunch. Looked interesting from outside and than inside was cozy but a little confusing. We had to walk Into the restaurant a little ways to figure out how it all worked. But the extremely kind lady at the front counter explained everything to us and even let us look around the buffet to see what all was available. So we decided to go ahead and eat. OH MAN!! The food was simply AMAZING!! The fried chicken was out of this world and so were the ribs and pulled pork! The salad bar was loaded and was a “True” salad bar! LARGE cut veggies and extras such as olives, beets, ect. made this an amazing garden salad. The sweet tea was excellent as well! I am definitely coming back to visit more! If you haven’t stopped in…you need to!!! It’s worth it!!

This was my 2nd visit to Sensation Farmhouse restaurant. We met friends there after 1pm to save a few dollars. It cost $25.25 for 2 seniors with tea. Pretty darn good deal for all you can eat buffet. Country cooking with lots of veggies and varietie of meats. It has been a year since my last visit, and I have to confess the chicken and pastry was much better last year. This year it seemed a little watered down. However there’s are a lot of things to choose from. Don’t forget deserts, sample a little bit of everything and enjoy. The waitress were very friendly and attentive making sure we had refills before having to ask, which is always a plus!

Saw this restaurant on UNC-TV and had to visit. The ribs are basted with a sweet sauce and very tinder, lima beans, cabbages, yams are well seasoned. The hushpuppies are delightful!!

Ate here for lunch today, for the first time since I was a kid, and the food was delicious!!! I went to the hot bar, and weighed a spaghetti plate with green beans and yams. The yams were so good, that I’m thinking of returning for dinner to get another serving.

The table we had was greasy, the food was okay depending on what you have. The chicken was dry, the cabbage was bland and I had to make our tea myself after waiting till I choked down half my food. Seen one person who worked there behind the counter that helped others. We didnt have a waitress or have one even greet us. Me and my husband will not be back. I can eat at home and not spend 40 dollars for buffet.
