Unfortunately cause I was enjoying my wife’s company on a date night, I forgot to take pictures of any of the food we ordered! So for appetizers we got potato and chorizo croquettes. They were good but lacked the chorizo. We also ordered the elotes, they were good. For entree we shared the mole enchiladas filled with cochinita pibil. The mole was very delicious and the meat was very good as well. For drink i had a jalapeño mojito and my wife had a cosmo martini. Both could have used a little bit mor liquor. Service was great, atmosphere was chill exactly what we were looking for that evening. Definitely will go back. Over I give Senoritas Cantina a 4.5.

Great cantina in Pilsen, enjoyed by visiting guests and I after a flamenco performance. The shareable plates of flautas and chips and guac were tasty as were the shrimp tacos / carne asada. The green Grinch beverage was delicious with Bacardi and notes of pineapple and mint. Great job!

Great service and a super friendly staff made this a really enjoyable experience. The food was solid, and the portions are generous for the price. I had the enchiladas verdes with vegan cheese — highly recommend! The flavor was spot on and really satisfying. We also tried the shrimp tacos, which were just as good and definitely worth it for the portion size. Overall, a great place if you’re looking for tasty food and good value.

I was really disappointed with our experience here. We walked in as a party of 6, but only 3 of us arrived at first. The host misunderstood and thought our group was only 3 people. When the other 3 guests arrived shortly after, he seemed visibly upset and gave us attitude, even though it was just a misunderstanding. He did end up pushing tables together for us, but from the start we felt unwelcome. The establishment was nearly empty; there were only two other couples there, so space clearly wasn’t an issue.

We each ordered just one drink, and unfortunately none of us enjoyed them. When the bill came, we decided to split it between two people. What surprised us was that a 20% gratuity was added to each split bill. Had we known we would both be charged 20%, we would have just kept it as one single bill. It ended up being around a $50 tip total for six people who only ordered one drink each, which felt excessive given the quality of service and drinks. We chose not to argue because we were celebrating a birthday and didn’t want to make a scene, but it definitely left a bad impression.

On top of that, we felt rushed the entire time. We were told the kitchen was closing and it seemed like they wanted us out fairly quickly, even though we hadn’t been there long. Overall, the service felt unfriendly, the drinks were disappointing, and the experience didn’t match the gratuity that was charged. I wouldn’t return.

Verónica at Señoritas Cantina made our visit amazing. She was professional, quick, and always had such a positive attitude. She gave great menu recommendations and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. That level of service truly makes a difference. She’s definitely one of the reasons I would come back.

Came in on a Sunday evening for dinner. Overall a very pleasant experience. Drinks were fabulous. Food was quite good but 2 items were under seasoned and the elote was over seasoned with salt. It is nice to have a vegan option in an upscale cantina.

Señoritas Cantina came highly recommended as one of the best Mexican spots in Chicago, according to a few locals.
I went for the first time on Cinco de Mayo. The wait was about 20mins, which was fine given how busy it was. Because of the crowd, the service was just okay—not bad, but nothing standout. I tried the tacos, which were tasty, but I was hoping for more of a traditional street-style taco without cheese. The tortillas were a bit too soft and tended to fall apart easily. That said, the atmosphere was festive, lively, and fun Also, their classic margaritas were excellent.

Not a bad spot! Tacos were great and our waiter was nice and chill. Only one other person was there. Unfortunately, the drinks weren’t too great for $14 cocktails. Mine had a very artificial watermelon taste and the espresso martini was pretty bad sadly. The women’s toilet also wasn’t flushing and when I notified our waiter, he just kinda shrugged and said nothing. At least a sign on the door would be useful.

Not sure if I would come back with all the other cantina options in the area, but it wasn’t the worst! Would definitely order out or something since I had no complaints about the food.
