I came here on a Saturday. Everything was great from the food to the service. My waitress/Bartender Mirna did an excellent job. They have a drink called Liquid Cocaine. Very good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I got queso dip, al pastor tacos, pacifico on draft and a fried ice cream. The total bill was only $50 plus tax. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely come back.

I was incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to Señor Tequila. We arrived and weren’t told a single thing about the happy hour specials. In fact, the bartender failed to mention that happy hour was ending in 20 minutes. By the time she finally took our order, it was five minutes past the cutoff, so we missed out on the pricing entirely.
The service was unfriendly and lacked any basic communication. When we ordered margaritas, she didn’t offer any options or go over the different types available. We specifically asked what kind of tequila was used because we prefer top-shelf, but she just served us a basic house version without further explanation and it wasn’t good.
To make matters worse, the chicken quesadilla was made with American cheese. When we asked what kind of cheese was in it, I was shocked—I have never had a quesadilla served with American cheese before, and it was nearly inedible for me.

Excellent food and drinks! Great spot to get a bite to eat and drink before going to a movie. The chips and salsa are good enough on their own, and you don’t even have to pay for them. The tacos are equally delicious and fresh. Service was great and attentive. Margaritas were excellent as well.

Date night win at Señor Tequilas Grill! My husband and I were craving Mexican food, and this spot delivered big time. The Mexican Jambalaya was bursting with bold, unforgettable flavors—and the portion was huge, perfect for two to share. A total showstopper!
We were warmly welcomed by Mario, the general manager, who came by our table to chat and even shared some great travel tips for exploring DC. Esteban, our server, was top-notch—friendly, fast, and on point the entire evening.

Our staff had a fantastic winter party at Señor Tequila! Working with the manager, Mario, was a great experience—he and his staff were excellent. The food was delicious with generous portions that everyone enjoyed. We had such a wonderful time that we plan to host more events there in the future!

To be fair i came in a bit late, but it was like 9:20 when they close at 10 so it wasn’t that late. The floors were mopped, tables wiped, chairs pushed back, amd then there’s the stares from the employees, like how dare I enter their place of business with ONLY 40 minutes before they close. I ate quickly and was out before 10 even hit.
As for the food, it was ok, nothing to write home about. Salsa was…salsa, monterrey enchiladas was mostly flavorless, I had to down it in the pico, sour cream, and hot sauce. Mangoneada margarita had a weird flavor on there somewhere I couldn’t place. After having the water I feel like that may have been what messed up the marg flavor to. The water was disgusting. I don’t know if they have me tap from the hand sink cause they were mad at me for being there, or if that was normally what they give people they order water. With water that gross that means anything that needs water to cook has that nastiness on it to.
I don’t live here, so I don’t have a choice about not going back… but even if I lived across the road from this place, I wouldn’t be back. Sorry, not sorry. Do better.

The food here is tasty. I like how the steak is very juicy along with cheese and other veggies. Having churros at the end is a perfect conclusion to my lunch. This restaurant has great vibe and colorful decorations which makes me feel like I’m attending festivals. Besides, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Will definitely come back again!
