We came here before Shea’s theater. The food was amazing! The service was great. Or waitress was very attentive, and the food came out fast! They bring out chips and salsa when you first arrive. The salsa was really yummy. A little sweet at first, then a little heat kicks in, but definitely not too hot. We both ordered the chimichangas, with a side of rice, followed by churros for dessert. Again, the food was great! The portions were big. We will definitely be returning.

We were up the street at Pour and on a recommendation of a couple people that were in our group, suggested and decided to go to Senor Tequila. We called ahead for a reservation and the person on the phone wasn’t particularly friendly, but people can be busy so we let it go.

On arrival almost every table was open, but it was close to their opening time, so again, everything was good. We were seated and placed our drink order. The server appeared to be newer but was trying her best. We subsequently placed our food order and this is where it started to become more apparent that they are not running efficiently, as it took forever for food to show up.

The restaurant slowly started to fill and adjacent tables were extremely frustrated with the level of service, waiting for drinks, placing their food order etc. They were getting ready to walk-out. So it wasn’t just us. They seemed understaffed, as our server appeared to be handling all of the tables. Our second round of drinks had a couple issues with the wine not being the correct type. Is was not the same as the first glass (was very sweet). The waitress did repour, but we did get charged for the incorrect ones (we had to have the bill adjusted at the end).

With the extended wait came a necessary trip to the rest rooms. They were not very clean, one of the stalls was “blown up” and was a real appetite killer. There was no soap in the men’s room and came to find out none in the women’s room. How are the staff washing their hand? The water was cold too. When someone from our party mentioned the missing soap, they gave them a grungy 3/4 used industrial sized container.

People in our party after this wanted to leave after this. Even the couple that recommended it were in favor of doing so, as things were spiraling out of control. We did not want to stiff the waitress so we waited and took it in as a learning experience. The food eventually arrived and was good, not great. The food was the best thing about our visit. Everything else from service, to cleanliness was unfortunately a disappointment. As things currently stand I could not recommend this. Hopefully they get their act together. Apparently it was good at one time, but definitely not on our visit.

Although my plate, the Texano fajita had a familiar char broiled fajitas taste, which i enjoyed, I felt it needed a little bit more seasoning to appease my Caribbean taste buds. I specifically asked for no decried beans and as you can see there’s retried beans on my plate. My wife ordered the mole enchilada and also felt it lacked seasoning. Although the atmosphere was inviting with a nice DJ who played really good music, the reason for my two star is the following: Our server although pleasant was not attentive to our needs specially unbeknown to me that there was and automatic 16% gratuity for two. Additionally we were bit informed of that the ice tea was not refillable and were charged after the fact. The margarita 2 for 6 common would dictate if only one ordered should be either half or $4 instead we were charged $6. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this facility based on this business practice. Hope they review their business practice and and at a minimal inform the customer if the above at the beginning to allow us to decide whether to stay and eat there or not.

Highly recommend this place! I was downtown Buffalo with some friends and decided to do some Mexican food and drink for lunch… First off, we were surprised at how nice it was inside. It has a very classy Mexican flair and it felt like we were on vacation as soon as we walked through the door. We were greeted with a warm smile by the hostess (a small thing but many hostesses forget this) and promptly seated.

Complimentary warm crisp nachos and delicious salsa arrived at our table right away and our first round of drinks arrived a few minutes later. The bartender doubled as our waiter and gave us great service and made us great tasting drinks. One of my friends commented that it was the best margarita that they ever had. I had a nice cold Dos Equis Lager. We placed our food order and while we waited, we were brought another round of tasty nachos and salsa. Nice!

Our food arrived quickly, along with another round from the bar. All of us were impressed with the quality and taste of our lunch. I had the chicken fajita and it was outstanding. None of us left hungry either, as we were given very generous food portions. Service was very attentive and the manager Ricky even stopped by a few times to make sure that everything was satisfactory. You could tell that he really cared…

On our way out the door, we all agreed that we would be back soon! If you are looking for a great Mexican restaurant in downtown Buffalo, look no further!

The food is amazing! They have plenty of dishes that are dairy free or can be altered to be dairy free. You are getting your money’s worth in food and drink. The waiter was incredibly friendly and ensured we had a good experience.

Had to wait forever while the hostess was on her cell phone to place and order

When placing the order, the girl didn’t know what we were even ordering ( must have been new )

Didn’t bring us chips and salsa as we requested I had to ask a different server for our order, the other server asked us if she even took our order yet

My plate was warmer than my actual food ON the plate

Oh yeah and there was a chicken bone in the quesadilla ( no price reduction after the bill was given)

Go figure going somewhere where you are the only person seated for 2 hours is trash.

Even the DJ was bored on his phone. Along with all the other servers
