3/3/26: I worked half day this morning and happened to drive by this authentic Mexican restaurant that I have been wanting to try for so long. So why not make it happen today.
I ordered the most expensive item, the Molcajete. It does look exactly how it is described on the menu. I ate too slowly so the heat from the lava pot somewhat burnt my cheese. It was very gooey and melting delicious at first. I don’t often go to Mexican restaurants but if I do, this is the kind of food I would order… Hot melting gooey cheese with tender meat with shrimp too.
For a Mexican restaurant, I would totally give it five stara.

We had Lesley on a Friday night. She was so attentive and friendly. The margaritas were delicious and so was the salsa. We loved it so much we went back Saturday. Food was good again but the waitress wasn’t as good Sat night. But tips reflect their service!

I’ve given Señor Tequila’s in Winter Springs several chances, but unfortunately I continue to leave disappointed. While the staff has never been rude, the service consistently feels impersonal and lacks the warmth or hospitality that makes a dining experience enjoyable. There’s no real sense of welcome or engagement, and that absence of personality stands out.
The pricing is where the frustration really sets in. The food itself isn’t bad — it’s decent — but it rarely feels worth what you pay for it in terms of portion size or overall value. The same goes for the drinks. On my most recent visit, a friend ordered a $13 margarita, unaware that $5 margaritas were being offered as a special that day. No one mentioned it. That was disappointing, especially considering the price difference. In general, the alcoholic drinks tend to feel overpriced for what you receive.
Overall, the atmosphere doesn’t justify the cost. There are many other places where I could spend significantly less, feel more welcomed, and leave just as full — if not more satisfied. For me, this will likely be my last visit.

My husband and I went here for the first time on a lunch date. First thing I always do is check the Life Kitchen app for health department ratings and they had an A. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Waitress was very nice, answered all of my questions. I always ask employees their preferences if I can’t decide between dishes because more than likely they have eaten the food. She was very sweet and helpful. The food arrived quickly. Service was excellent. I only removed a star because the salsa for chips and that came with my food were both very spicy. I could handle it but when I asked if they had anything milder the waitress said the only other thing was burrito sauce which was pretty much a tomato sauce. So for anyone who can’t handle spicy salsa just be advised that’s your only option. But the steak taco was delicious, no fat and the shredded chicken tostada and taco were delicious along with the rice and beans. My husband had shrimp enchiladas which he enjoyed as well. I don’t have a huge appetite so after some chips and my steak taco, the rest came home and it was still delicious later on. For the two of us with sodas after tip it was in the $50 range give or take. (This was about a week ago.) We would definitely go back and would have given it five stars of they had other salsa options.

You’re getting good food at a good price. I’m also a fan of their chips and salsa and in my experience the staff has always been great. The atmosphere isn’t bad either. Although I don’t care for the music personally (somewhat loud’ish).
There’s two reasons why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5, however. First, the drink-to-price ratio isn’t justifiable. The drinks are just a bit too much compared against other similar restaurants I’ve been to. Plus, the amount of guacamole and sour cream I’ve always gotten, regardless of what I’ve ordered, has been pretty small.
Besides that, you will enjoy the food. Not to mention they have good veggie options for Veggie Chads like myself. You can see some pics of a Super Burrito I think it’s called and Veggie Fajitas.

It’s ALWAYS hard trying to find a GOOD Mexican restaurant! My wife and I have been searching for a while and always get let down, but we decided to give Señor Tequila a shot and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The unprofessionalism of your staff tonight was disgusting. I also promise you, my review is going to go to the Better Business Bureau and every single entity, including corporate about the vile disgusting behavior of your staff tonight. I will also be requesting camera footage for corporate to be viewing. This is a restaurant. This is not a playground. Shirley, our waitress was extremely unprofessional. On top of before 9 PM when the restaurant closes at 10 PM, You have someone loudly sweeping around the entire restaurant WHILE WE WERE EATING. . I literally looked for a staff member which no one was around and had to enter the kitchen to get the attention of someone. I AM A CUSTOMER WHO HAD TO ENTER YOUR DIRTY KITCHEN TO GET A STAFF MEMBER!!!
On top of when I spoke to the manager, Antonio, he was extremely rude and dismissive. While his incompetent unprofessional staff was laughing up a storm in the kitchen with him. I asked for the information for the owner of the restaurant and they simply gave me the email to the restaurant. Antonio, is disgusting unprofessional incompetent person to be running a restaurant like this. We have dined here for three years and this was the most vile disgusting, unprofessional, degrading experience of any restaurants that we have ever gone to. And I want to assure you, we have dined at top restaurants in the United States. And I want to promise you after the disgusting behavior of your staff members and your manager Antonio tonight, You will get a disgusting bad review from me everywhere I could possibly leave it and I will be contacting the owner.

I just have to say WOW! I came a few months ago with our 12yr old daughter and she critiques food just as we do as adults, it was AMAZING! I came again tonight with my husband and once again absolutely AMAZING! You have super nice and professional staff, very clean, the food is sooo amazing, well seasoned and massive portions! Pictures are from this visit and last!

First of all, you did not ID me, but you chose a question my wife’s age numerous times even when she showed you her ID. She is 36 years old. On top of before 9 PM you had someone cleaning so loudly around the restaurant. It was disrupting our dinner. We did not say anything we wanted our food to go at this point. My wife got up to find someone yet there was no staff members around. She had to knock on the kitchen door and no one answered And then she has entered the kitchen to get someone’s attention. Which your kitchen is extremely disgusting and dirty.
