The Queso Fondido needed more chorizo so did the Molcajete which had just one piece of chorizo and one piece of beef. $10 shot of house tequila is pricey. The service was good. Nice night to sit outside too.

My girlfriend and I were in the mood for some Mexican food and we decided to give Señor Tequila’s a try. We sat at the bar as we were in a little rush. I don’t know about all of you but I can usually tell how good a Mexican restaurant is going to be by the taste of the salsa.
Daniel was our waiter great dude and when he brought out the salsa and warm chips I knew I was going to be happy. But just how happy was fully explained to me by my taste buds. I have never in my life had better salsa, and I’ve eaten some salsa in my life. It was the perfect blend of spices and hotness, it also had a little Smokey flavor. It was so freaking good that I had to order a to go order of it.
I had a super burrito and it was extremely good as well. I loved it had black beans instead of the usual Sysco delivered beans that some other restaurants have. The steak was perfectly good and had that delicious grill flavor.
If you like Mexican, and good Mexican, go to Señor Tequila, I’m definitely going back…as soon as my massive salsa to go container runs out!

Try this for the first time a few weeks ago and honestly, it wasn’t the worst, but it wasn’t the best. The food was really good, though the service not as much. Our waiter seemed a bit standoffish, which was a bit odd but other than that. I had a great time with my family here. The food was delicious especially the beans that I had. And their drinks were great too . I would definitely come back here again with some friends.

We are transplanted Texans who have been looking for a good Mexican food restaurant. Senor Tequila Mexican Grill is the best we have found in the Tampa area. It’s not Tex-Mex (cooked-in spices to the extremely hot) but the food was authentic and delicious. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. We had a large group (30+), the service was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The tequila old fashion is dangerous. It is amazingly smooth and very delicious. It’s tempting to gulp the drink down and order 3 more.

Wasn’t sure at first, everything turned out to be great. We sat at bar and no one there working but within two minutes we had service.
We ordered the Texas fajitas and they were wonderful. Asked for no Onions and they accommodated us. Got the Queso dip and it was good too.
Prices were very good. A 32 oz beer was only $10 and 16 Oz $5 and was a good beer….Neuro modela. All we could eat and drink for $51.06 plus tip.
Service was Great and food was Wonderful.

Very nice food. Their rice is so flavorsome. They have complimentary chips and salsa for each table. I love their enchiladas. Portions are big enough and there is enough parking available. Always our go to for mexican food.

Service here was very bad. Waiter was uncourteous, and confused. Did not seem to have been trained properly. We realized after he took our drink orders that he hardly spoke English. Right after he brought our drinks, my husband accidentally spilled his drink while moving the silverware. We asked for a towel and he did not understand what we asked for. He saw the spill, but did not bring paper towels or towels. Did not help clean up either. We had to go to another server and ask for towels. Ultimately, after we cleaned the area ,we asked for
