There is a very nice lively feel to the place and staff is attentive to a point. The one star is because my dinner partner’s arroz con Pollo came out completely cold. Not refrigerated cold but sat out too long cold. My and another’s was hot. We asked to have it reheated but it still came out not to temperature. They ate it because at this point she was hungry. They came down with food poisoning later that night. Can not in good faith recommend if proper food safety is not being maintained. To be clear food must be kept under 40 degrees or over 145 degrees. Anything in between the bacteria that cause food borne illness grow and can be quite serious even deadly.

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would!!! The service was absolutely horrible! Guy stood over a group of us at the table to just watch us eat andorder our drinks even after we showed ID. We asked for a manager and they wanted to create a very confrontational atmosphere. The lady manager was so rude; Told her we were taking our party elsewhere, to Los Reyes, West Ashley where the service and quality is always good! Her response was “okay good”

The service was good but I made to go order that’s why I’m giving an overall one star. The food was very mediocre. Only one thing had seasoning which was the steak. The handmade tortillas (while appreciated because I definitely don’t know how to make them myself ) tasted like cardboard. I unfortunately won’t be going back there.

I’m going to leave four stars for the food and 5 for everything else only because the scallops are not real. Seated right away. Marvelous drinks I had a margarita and a michelada. Waiter brought chips and salsa while I waited for my Cancun especial. Very clean.

This place has some of the best Mexican food in the area at a very affordable price. We always get seated right away and have warm chips and salsa the moment we sit down. The staff is so efficient and we usually have our food ordered and brought out to us within 10 min. The steak fajitas and the chili verde are delicious and I’ve yet to order something on the menu I don’t like. A very family friendly and welcoming environment that is run in an efficient and professional manner.

Love the food in this place! Yummy, yumm yum! Had the chicken fajitas with sweet tea and frozen peach margarita for me and the wife. Their home made chips and salsa is delicious, as well as the flour tortillas that came with the meal! Highly recommended you eat here, you will love it! Great, friendly staff also that are attentive and caring to your needs! One of West Ashley’s must go to eating places!
