This will probably be my lil go to taco spot out here in Wasilla. Great flavors and value. My only complaints: the shell fell apart and my rice and beans were luke warm. I ended up mixing everything and turning it into a dip. Delicious

Amazing Mexican cuisine! The adobada is amazing! Big portions! Affordable price! Best Mexican restaurant in the valley in my opinion! The sauce bar is good too. The building has lots of seating and spacious!

100% recommend senor taco for all your taco cravings!! Best birria tacos in the valley!! Amazing staff who’s always kind and upbeat, and the manager is spectacular! I have great experiences with both ordering in person and over the phone. The food is always delicious and looks just like the pictures! Thanks senor taco!!

This little place is not bad at all. I loved their it sauces! They recommend the chipotle burrito and it was fantastic! Great balance of flavors between the steaks and the peppers and sour cream. I poured the white hot sauce on mine which made it even better!
The kids meals were a decent size for the money as well.
I would definitely recommend this place!

This restaurant had a new and clean feel. The food was good but it could have been better if my order of carnitas wasn’t served with half the portion dried up and hard to chew. On the flip side, the portion was huge and worth the $16. It came with beans, rice, guacamole, limes, tortillas and chips for an appetizer. They have a self service bar for your choice of dip which is nice. The only other thing I can say is it’s rare to get decent food for an incredibly reasonable price (just don’t order carnitas in the late afternoon lol). My cousin’s order of chili Verde was fresh and delicious.

Señor Taco is one of those places that has a few things on the menu that are really really good especially for Wasilla Alaska, but it also has a few things that I think are there to fill a void for people who expect certain things on a menu at a Mexican restaurant. We have tried a bunch of different things from them to get a gauge on what’s good and what’s not.

The Good: LUCIA’S GREEN SALSA This stuff is absolutely incredible, it is something that is so good we have attempted to make it at home many times and failed, it is hard to describe but think of it as a creamy delicious and fresh tasting dip that is equally as hard to put a finger on what is in it, as it is to figure out if there is any other salsa that could be more delicious. Their chicken Chipotle dinner is incredibly good and flavorful. And they’re poblano chicken enchiladas are probably the best you can get in the valley.

The Bad: their normal mild salsa is a bit odd and I wouldn’t recommend it, their carne asada was a bit overcooked and mushy and although my father likes it, I think that it is not my favorite for a number of reasons. We also got shrimp tacos from them that had the super tiny shrimp which are way too easy to both overcook and their texture isn’t very good.

Service is good and overall they are probably the best Mexican restaurant in Wasilla outside of maybe Tacos Cancun who ties with them.

This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since they switched locations a couple years ago. To be honest, I did not know they were around until they moved, otherwise it would have been sooner. They have GREAT enchiladas and qusedillas and a very tart awesome pico sauce. Someone just tried to bash them on Facebook and I wholly disagree. They are a great choice for people that love Mexican food but have spicy issues. I love this place and they are my pick over any other local Mexican restaurant.

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and make sure you are taken care of. The crowd inside was kind of loud and felt like a fast food joint. That was the only negative point. It might have been the time of day.

I come here often with my lady friend for the burros. Very delicious and great portions for the price. The horchata is good as well and their fried ice cream is one of the best I’ve ever had and would recommend trying it at least once. The staff is very friendly and the service is usually quite fast.

So far, this is the best and most authentic Mexican that I’ve had in alaska.
Not only did they have lengua, which was cooked so tenderly, not only did they have Birria, they EASILY have the BEST HORCHATA that I’ve had.
I always get Horchata, and this is the first time in alaska that it is not powdery, or just filled with cinnamon to hide the bad flavor.
This Horchata, was made perfectly and the large was not large enough for me.
I had their queso Blanco or white queso, it was hot and gooey and even held up to being reheated the next day. Very worth it.
Their burros (we had steak and carnitas) were pretty okay. Not the best thing I had. I think that the red sauce it was served with was a bit salty, which overpowered the burrito a bit. But the carnitas was soft and tender and the asada was tender and moist.
Served with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Which is nice considering I always have to order extra.
I don’t remember the full name but their Lucia green salsa is worth the trip alone. It was so perfectly textured and spicy.
I will definitely be going again.
The only thing stopping me from a 5 is probably the saltiness I experienced. Not sure if it was the sauce or beans, but I couldn’t shake it.
But the presentation and their to-go set up makes it perfect.
