I was introduced to this restaurant by a relative when I’d visit from out of town. I now live near by and was happy to go to my fav restaurant. I’ve had the same experience 3 times.
I ordered and gladly paid for double steak burrito. Each time I ordered I was disappointed to receive a burrito that had less than what would be expected for a regular serving of meat and in no way reflected the $5+ up charge for double.
I ordered a steak burrito combo with double meat carry out. My tab was $25.15. That’s more that what you would be charged for a sit in restaurant. Fine no issue I believe in shopping local. How disappointing to get home see a very lean burrito, a serving of rice and (concrete like)side of beans.
I’m very disappointed I thought the other occasions were off days which is why I went back. But I see this is their new norm. I don’t blame a restaurant for having to increase prices but it is absolutely shameful to charge and not deliver.
Next time someone orders double portions of meat make sure the cook delivers.

Food was ok, service was ok she wasn’t the best servicer, I don’t think she wanted to be at work, but Ive had worse server’s. When she swept the floor she bang the chairs and tables together, left the last table kind of sideways. There was only one other customer in the building with us, 3 workers, and it tolk a while for a worker to come to the front to help my husband with an item they forgot to give us on our order.

Food was delicious definitely worth the money with the amount of food that you get. We got the senor burrito which was huge could definitely feed my whole family but we didn’t know how big it was. Also got nachos and a shrimp quesadilla. Salsa bar was really good as well

Young lady up front is extremely nice and polite. Gave me good insight about the food. It was served in a very timely manner and hot. I would highly recommend this place. Carne aside burrito and chili relleno plate with rice n beans.

We moved to a different side of town so we don’t get to eat here much anymore. Love the inside, looks great. Lady taking my husbands order was a little snotty, she was on her way out. The rest of the people were friendly and the pollo asado tacos and chicken burrito were delicious.

I am a regular customer at this establishment and have always had positive experiences with the staff—they are typically welcoming, helpful, and kind. However, during my visit on November 20th, 2025, I encountered an issue with the cashier, Lidia. When I attempted to customize my order, she was dismissive and unwilling to assist. She refused my request to make a simple switch, and when I asked to speak with a manager, she smirked and stated that she was the manager.
Her attitude was rude and off-putting, and the interaction lacked the basic customer service skills I’ve consistently experienced from others here. I rarely write reviews, but I felt it was important to bring attention to this situation. No customer should feel dismissed or turned away, and I hope that ownership or upper management sees this and provides the appropriate coaching or training to ensure a better experience for all customers moving forward

Senor Taco in Goodyear AZ is a tried and true delightful establishment. I’ve been a customer since they opened. The service has always been good and the food is great. I was so very pleased when I requested a large catered size order this past Sunday. I had guests from CA and they wanted Mexican food. As I placed the order the attendant was patient checking with the cook staff to ensure that they would be able to complete it. She said that it would take twenty minutes. I was skeptical but they were true to their word. Not only was it ready the order was perfect not a single mistake to include condiments etc. They also provided a discount. THANK YOU SENOR TACO FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY DISHES!!

First time: The Carne asada has great flavor I wish meat was dice cut a little smaller. Rice is good beans are great. In all my experience went well I would recommend trying it out.

Always a positive experience at this restaurant! It’s great that the place is very clean, orders are consistently correct, and the food is both hot and delicious. The best carne asada especially in Phoenix. I always get a few things: carne asada fries, carne asad burritto or the quesadilla with sides. Both are delicious and you cant go wrong!
