This was my first time there. The entrance is right off Halsted Street. I would pass this taco shack on my travels and wonder how’s the food. Because it is always a line to get in, I decided to check them out. It is a 24 hour grease food joint. You pay on one side to order then drive around the building to pick your food up. Now it look like you will get robbed (but that’s my opinion) going around that building. Lightning is not very good. Lastly the burritos made me sick as a dog. So I will not be going back. FYI I went during the week around 9 pm at night.

Food is horrible if you are used to authentic Mexican food. It’s catered more for non Latinos. Ordered enchiladas and flautas. Enchiladas tasted like the sauce was from a can. The flautas chicken tasted old. Rice was hard not cooked and beans tasted spoiled. Also ordered Jamaica….not, more like fruit punch. A waste of $30, never again.

This place is honestly 4 star restaurant, you can’t dine in, or come in its a drive thru restaurant. the tacos are decent if you ask for carinitas they don’t even cut it up they put 2 pieces of solid meat. The salsa is decent too, not the best.

Ordered a burrito suzio ground beef. The beef was mixed with old meat. The rice was under cooked and cruny. Packaging of the food messy. Sauce dripping out the container into the bag.

I WENT THERE SOME MONTHS AGO & COULDN’T REMEMBER WHY I WAS TO NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!! SERVICE WAS RUDE & THE YOUNG LADY DIDN’T LISTEN, SHE GAVE ME WHAT SHE WANTED..DESPITE ME PAYING FOR EXTRA MEAT ALONG W/OTHER ITEMS THAT SHE FAILED TO GIVE ME !!! BURRITO SHELL WAS OLD & HARD..PRETTY MUCH STALE!!! ATMOSPHERE.. DIDN’T GO IN AND W/THE SERVICE I HAD(POOR)..I WOULD NEVER GO IN AND WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THAT RESTAURANT FOR NOTHING!!!

Everything I get from here, from tacos, burritos, tamales, cheese fries, to tortas are fantastic. It doesn’t matter what you order you can’t go wrong. The flavors are amazing and the food is always hot and fresh. It’s the only drive thru Mexican restaurant in the area.

We visited last night around 3 a.m. As we waited in the drive thru. The heavy set guy was taking the orders and preparing the food. He handed the customer in front of us his change and food. I noticed that he Never washed his hands and began preparing the food without wearing gloves. I thought that was very unsanitary.
