Went on a busy Friday night and the wait was around 20 minutes for 2. But it was well worth the wait!
The service was incredibly fast and we were brought chips and salsa immediately as we sat down. Any empty glass or close to empty glass was quickly replaced with a full one– and this was with the place packed!
The food itself was amazing. SO much variety. I got to try the Huarache, Sope, and California Burrito. First off, the burrito was HUGE. Packed with flavor. The Huarache and Sope were practically the same in my opinion although the Huarache was bigger and had avocado. I liked how refreshing these two were in comparison to the burrito- but probably wouldnt order it again. I’ve never been a fan of sopes or huaraches though so I’m not a good judge of them.
I also got to try the Mangonada Margarita. And it was incredible! I’ve always loved Mangonadas and when I saw that was an option, I had to try it! The spice of the Tajin rim and Chamoy inside of it along with the icy sweetness of the mango and ice was so amazing. Would highly recommend!
Oh also, they do birthday celebrations by putting a mariachi hat on the birthday person, and then sing happy birthday!

We recently discovered this restaurant thanks to our next door neighbor. I love, love, love their trash can nachos… delicious. Big portón, i share with my daughter. My husband gets the chicken with chorizo and shrimp, my daughter gets the cheeseburger kids meal.

My husband and I discovered this gem when we moved to Springfield back at the end of 22. I don’t think we have had any food this good since we’ve been here for almost 3 years now. We struggle to try other places because we love going here so much. Anyone that comes to visit us, we take here. I don’t even know how many times we have came here at this point but it is always a 10/10 for us. No matter what we order, who takes care of us, always walking out the door happy. Their margaritas too are also phenomenal and generously sized, and you absolutely get the bang for your buck with those! Never a long wait even when they are packed, and the food always comes out hot and quick! Best Mexican in Springfield and its not even close.

This is a very good Mexican restaurant. My Quesatacos were excellent and tasted great. I tried all the meats and each was fantastic! My wife’s Pollo Asado was a delicious. Overall a great restaurant to try when you’re in Springfield!

I wish I could give them more stars. If you want Mexican food then YOU MUST COME HERE. Family owned business delivers top notch everything. Our server, Griffin was fun and a great listener. He even tried a Spanish word. You gotta love when they try. We’re a Mexican family so we’re picky with Mexican food. Everyone loved all their food! BTW, they celebrate your bday with a shot (of you’re drinking).

At the suggestion of one of Mrs. HB’s co-workers, we stopped in to try Senor Julian’s. He was right. It was great!
The first thing you noticed when you walk in is the colorful artwork all over the restaurant. The second thing you notice is they are using every square foot they can to get as many people seated as possible. They even use the hallway to the restrooms for seating!
They were very well staffed, and the entire staff was extremely friendly! But the food… it was some of the best Mexican we’ve had in long time. And the portion sizes were… substantial.
I recommend anyone who loves Mexican food to try Senor Julian’s. You’ll be glad you did.

This place is busy for a reason! Delicious tacos, salsa, and the service are stellar. If you’ve not had the Chile Verde, you’re missing out on the best meal of your life. So delicious, we ordered more to take home to eat with eggs for breakfast. They have expanded seating and a full bar, and they are very quick to turn tables. Not to mention large beers and margaritas, skinny margaritas with tajin, and even a local IPA on tap. Ask for the most delicious spicy salsas by request only. They even have Topo Chico Sparkling Mineral water, toddler approved while we enjoy our margaritas! Love this place!!

Food was great ! Emily was very friendly and had a smile on her face the whole time she greeted us, we felt very welcome! Loved Griffin as well, he was very kind and polite ! Service was also very fast. Will definitely come back
