I do enjoy a good Mexican restaurant & Sr. Jalapeños in Liberty, Ohio never disappoints. When you arrive you can park in front or on the side of the building, plenty of spots available. Inside you will find a spacious dining area & bar. Seating options are tables, booths or bar. The waiting staff & servers are great, very friendly & attentive. They always check on you as you dine, make sure your drinks are topped off & ensuring you have everything you need. The owner is usually there and will stop & check on you as well. The
Menu has a great selection of entrees, vegan options & and kids meals. Their food is delicious, dress & served hot. Even the chips and salsa are amazing, nice thick & crunchy. The bar is properly stocked with a good selection of liquor & beers. Numerous televisions are all around the place, so an ideal place to enjoy sports as you dine. I’m a big fan of this place for the food and atmosphere. I strongly recommend that you stop in and give it a try.

In my life, I’ve spent a lot of time in Texas Cities where Mexican food was always my go-to for its vibrant taste, generous portions, and authenticity. Although I’ve never been to Mexico itself, this food comes as close as it gets. I haven’t been back to Texas in years, but I haven’t missed it—because this restaurant brings the heart of Mexico right to me. On top of that, the staff is absolutely amazing, making the experience even more memorable. A true taste of Mexico you won’t be disappointed by!

The food here was good. I had a seafood burrito, chimichunga with rice & beans & they were loaded with seafood! The burrito was bigger, but the chimmi was very tasty with the queso. My daughter had a combo plate with a burrito & hard taco & she loved it! My friend had seafood burritos that she said were very filling & worth the money. The service was a little lacking as we asked for a few things that we never received & were forgotten. But our waitress was missing & another guy was trying to help us and services his tables too, so I didn’t hold it over him as it was not his fault. Overall I will go back though. Nice environment, clean & friendly.
