No loud music. Able to talk comfortably. People complain about slow service, but they need to realize that the Everhart road construction has been very difficult for these businesses and Senior Jaimes is operating on a skeleton crew to try and survive.

I’m on a mission to find the best seafood enchiladas in Corpus since La Playa on SPID closed. Went to Jaime’s last night and the enchiladas were excellent! Melted cheese was great, nice shrimp. La Playa also had scallops in their enchiladas, but these were great without them. I’ll be trying more places but I think I’ll be coming back here in the future. Thanks!

Senior Jaime’s is really good Mexican food all around. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but it is really good. Never had a bad meal here. The food always comes suspiciously fast, but somehow tastes home made on the spot. The guy who checks you in at the front doesn’t look very happy and says nothing other than how many people for the table…but minor gripe.

They serve Totopos but without salsa.
I had the Beef Chile Rellenos. It was very light on the meat. I asked our server for some hot sauce. She said they had some green hot sauce, and I said that was ok. She brought it out in a small bowl and it was very creamy and lightly spicy. When I got my check I found they charged me $3.49 for it.
Service overall was slow and she didn’t seem that knowledgeable.

I had the tapenio soup which was not bad but I’ve had better soups. However, what I discovered for my first time dining there, they charged for the chips and salsa a $3.00 charge. I will not be returning because it was not as authentic as I thought it would be because they charged for the the chips and salsa and the salsa is not even real salsa. It was nothing but cilantro and bits of onions and tomatoes in water. It was not even real salsa. It was pathetic they call it salsa and store bought chips.bsp, in my opinion paying $3 for watery salsa with nothing but cilantro was not worth the $3. I will not be returning because I can have better tasting soups and free chips and real salsa somewhere else. I was very disappointed

We ordered the cheese enchilada plate, jalapeño chopped steak, and shrimp, smoked sausage, beef, chicken fajitas. Everything was incredible! Rice, beans and tortillas were so good & authentic. Hands down our favorite spot to come for some Mexican food! Oh, and their Perfect Marg is on point!

My wife loves their (King Ranch?) Chicken Casserole and orders it evertime we eat there.
One small disappointment is that they do not serve Coke products. So, with that said, how do you get a Bourbon and Coke from the bar? Made with Pepsi? I think not! I settled for Ice Tea.
This a great establishment with friendly service, food was served quickly and tasted fantastic.
Also, the road construction is complete and the traffic congestion has subsided.

Kinda pricey, however the portions are pretty huge. Good food. EXCELLENT wait staff.
Still good. Still expensive. One thing that might disappoint you is that the chips and salsa are NOT complimentary like they are at most Mexican restaurants. Also…there on NO FREE REFILLS if you order lemonade to drink.

Great Place for authentic Mexican cuisine ! Food is hot and flavorful ! Service is quick and kind ! Bathrooms are always clean ! This the only place I know that has hand made guacamole dip made at the table with a molcahete ! Enjoy
