We walked in and were greeted immediately with open seating. We started with tortilla chips and a unique salsa that tasted like it had a savory fish base it was honestly delicious.
However, the main courses were a mixed bag. The restaurant definitely lives up to its reputation for seafood, but struggles elsewhere:
The Winner (Grandma’s Meal): She ordered the whole fish garnished with garlic, accompanied by mashed potatoes, rice, and a fish soup. She loved it! 9/10
The Loser (My Meal): I ordered the steak plate. While it looked colorful with veggies, the portion was shocking literally just four small pieces of meat that tasted “off.” I finished the meat in about a minute and was left waiting while my grandmother finished her feast.
The Soup: I ordered clam chowder, but it was essentially mushroom soup; mushrooms were the only ingredient I could find.
Verdict: If you come here, stick to the fish. My grandmother had a great experience, but my non-seafood meal was a 4/10

Went on Friday the 13th, 2025, around 11:30 am, plenty of table, very clean, had Halloween set around the inside, all very nice, the waitress very professional and polite, quick response and food was excellent, drinks had lemonade and enjoyed every bit of this beautiful place! I recommend it highly!!!

Very nostalgic hasn’t changed in atmosphere although food quality isn’t there anymore… very mediocre, fish soup barely had fish very disappointing when it was my favorite seafood place growing up.

Really good food the fish fillet a la diabla is so good its nice and spicy but I wanted it to be more spicy but very good fillet is thick and a good portion the fish caldo is tasteful will definitely recommend server is nice attentive too

The foods are amazing here. Me and my mother in law have had a good experience dinner here for the first time. We’re so glad everything went well and comes out beyond what we’ve been expecting!!! The fish soup is my favorite.

A great little hidden treasure in El Paso. Whether you’re looking for sweet aguas frescas or crispy tortilla chips and salsa with friends or a cold beer and fulfilling dinner, this is a great place. Service is usually friendly and the restaurant clean.
Got to try their specials and if you love Clam Chowder so far it’s one of the best. They also have a wide assortment of foods like tasty burgers, tostadas de ceviche, salads and offer special, a kid’s menu and excellent shrimp cocktails.

I like local restaurants and this was a one of them . Loved the service and the food . Very nice people. I would highly recommend this place to any one very laid back place . That is a whole meal. I was satisfied before I ate my main course which is the fish plate .
