I used to love going there and eating not seeing that the food is bad but I put in an order for Carnitas half the order was missing when I got home and I called up there and the only thing they were willing to do is give me 20% off my next meal After the meal I just paid for that was $20 only came with chips and meat. Then I called up there and the guy said he will return my money if I brought him the full amount of food back I am unable to do so because I picked up the food when I got off work and Uber home so it would cost me $40 just to bring them the food back

On this beautiful 9th day of October, 2022, I took my family to this establishment. It was our first visit … and it will be our last!
First thing I noticed was how much higher their prices were than our usual Mexican Restuarant. I thought, “well, perhaps the food and service can justify their prices.” Absolutely not! The ONLY good thing was the way my plate looked when it was finally served. (See photo)
Second, the service was, not just slow, but SLOW! Our server finally brought 4 of the 5 plates to our table and said he’d be “right back” with our 5th plate. Five minutes later, we got our final plate. After we ate and was ready to go, our waiter was nowhere in sight.
Third, the food just didn’t taste up to standard. It was “okay,” but it sure didn’t justify the higher prices.
Maybe, some people in Portland, TN have come to like this place because … well, it’s Portland, TN … and there are limited options, I guess. I went there because (a) I had other business in Portland to tend to and (b) I wanted to try a new place.
As for me and my house, we will bypass this place and find something better. I’m confident it won’t be hard!
