So good, great portions, and nice service everything seemed fresh; got the enchiladas suizas and fish tacos (plus Dr Pepper and a beer plus tip came out about $45). Totopos and salsa as appetizer were free and we got them refilled 1x, overall nice experience, will go again

Very disappointed everything this restaurant had to offer in a prime location. Everyone was so unorganized and very slow in providing service. Food was taking close to an hour and we only ordered two plates, their ponchos one tea. If this is the service we get on a slow day I can only imagine when they are busy. They drastically need a change in management starting with shift manager Edgar who was actually the one who confirmed the order it blamed everyone but himself for the long delays and service. He was very rude and would take any accountability for the delays. I would have been more understanding and shown more professionalism as a manager if he would have. Very very disappointed amd would not recommend or spend my time or money.

We were so disappointed. The service here is exceptionally awful. They were nice, but barely ever spoke to us. We saw our waiter a total of four times. It was almost as if he was hiding out somewhere. The only time he talked was to help me with the payment machine. It was outrageously expensive.
He got our order wrong, but never came back where we could tell him. The next time he came back by was when we were getting up to leave. And we had to get our own to-go box as well. I think that’s the reason he came by after we were through. Because we got up and helped ourselves. The food was good, but the service made it taste like soap. We couldn’t believe it. We will not ever come back. Please at least act like you like us. We tried to hold a conversation and thanked him profusely for the drinks and food. We smiled and called him “sir,” but it didn’t help. Oh well. You live and learn. Señor Cactus was a waste of money.

Good food and good prices. We order enchiladas suizas and choriqueso. Plus, camaros wrapped in bacon. Everything was good and the food came out fast. Really liked the live music and the atmosphere. The michelada was on point. Wouldn’t mind stopping to grab a bite again.

First time here wait time to be seat was long due to staff talking in kitchen. Service was okay once seated. Atmosphere was okay not a fan of the loud music so early in the morning. Food was good and tasty definitely would go back to try other food items.

It’s an okay place. Food was a disappointment. Would not go out of my way to visit again.
Service was very slow, and the place only had like 25% occupancy.
The biggest flop was the food, I will say the bistec tacos were good although they missed my charro beans, never got them.
The mole is BAD, if you were to ask me it tasted like they made it with milk chocolate. The rice that came with it was dry, the refried beans were okay.
The ribeye chicharrón was pretty much just a salad with a bit of meat, the meat had no taste to it.
The cactus chicken was very dry, the sides were the same as the mole enchiladas.
The choriqueso was okay.
The camarones emborrachados(I think that’s the name) were too chewy, like old shrimp and they had WAY too much garlic, and I love garlic.
Service never really worried to check on refills or anything else, we had to call them every single time.
I do not recommend this place. Prices are not a reflection of their service nor quality.

*Update* on my last visit the chicharrón prensado was awful tasting, I wouldn’t recommend.
The place inside/outside looks really good, the architect did a great job with the design.
The huevos divorciados are pretty good, for $9.99 you get 2 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and chicharrón prensado (this is better than pork rinds).
The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsas for the eggs was okay, the chicharrón prensado was okay, the refried beans were also just okay perhaps if they added lard to the beans they would taste better, the potatoes were hot but they could have used more seasoning as they were okay.
The servers are very friendly and attentive.
Overall this place is a really good with good portions on the dishes, i would recommend this place for breakfast.

Delicious food, fair price. Background music and noise level gets high and service is 50-50. Had poor service during first visit but outstanding service the second visit.
Delicious entrees-
Fajita chicken salad
Beef fajita tacos
Quesadilla fajita
Brisket enchiladas
Good restaurant if you’re craving some Tex-Mex!

This place started out good but was horrible at the end. It took 20 minutes to get our food and the portions looked great. But, when we got the food and started eating we started pulling out random things out of the food. Mine had the metal thing that surrounds cilantro or bread. Another plate had a huge piece of plastic, and another one had hair. We still payed $60 for almost chocking. Some of the food was hard as well. I wish it could’ve been better it had potential but now I can see why they don’t have clients

Great atmosphere. We had no issues during our visit; the homemade chips and salsa were great! Our waiter gave us great service which is refreshing, it’s not something you get lately. My friend ordered the fish tacos and she loved them and the coleslaw and I got the birria tacos, they were good too. Not as greasy as other places. Overall, we had a great experience!
