Went to Senjyu House on Jan 31st for a late lunch. We were immediately seated and greeted by our server Khloe. It was our first time there, even though we’ve been in the area for years. Not sure why we waited so long to try it because the food was delicious and the service was excellent. My husband had suchi which was so fresh and beautifully presented and he said it was delicious. Sorry I forgot to take a pic. I had shrimp and vegetable tempura and it, too, was fresh and delicious — nothing was frozen or prepackaged. The tempura was crispy and wonderful, served with a variety of sauces. Our server Khloe was also very attentive and did a great job. We’ll definitely make Senjyu House a regular stop.

Went here for lunch today to try their Special: Spicy Beef Ramen. It ould have been a little spicier, but overall it was good. I normal get their sushi which is AMAZING and very good prices. The place is astetically pleasing too!

The food is great, I got the chicken katsu and the batter was crunchy and delicious. They were also playing linkin park from the speakers whilst I was there and I quite enjoyed that. The interior is clean and has pretty cherry blossom decor in the ceiling

When we come to Scottsboro, this place is our #1 stop! Great establishment that’s super clean, very friendly and courteous staff and always delivers great food with a smile. From the hibachi dinners to the sushi, it’s all so good. Each visit to town, we always come at least twice. Try the Spicy Dragon Roll, Filet Steak, Shrimp & Scallops…all delicious!!! And the full size fish tank video wall is super cool!!!!!

I’ve been a couple times. One time was on mother’s day. The service was good but took forever for our food to come out compared to other sushi places we’ve been at. The food is wonderful, they did up charge us on some things which they asked first (thanks for that) and we were okay with it, HOWEVER this place is way more expensive compared to other places nearby. Beautiful and yummy but our other sushi place (Miyako) has way better prices on their stuff.
if you dont wanna travel to far and you live near Sboro, its a great place to go. My kids also love their projection wall aquarium!
But if you live a bit closer to HSV, there are places priced better with just as good food if not better.

This place had a glow up in the past year. The atmosphere is lovely. There is a bar now! The sushi is even better than before. The soup and salad were perfect. The service was great! We very much enjoyed our food and our time there!
