We loved the food here!!

The explosions of flavor took me back to Vietnam. I was ecstatic to take my sister and dad to try out Vietnamese food and would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Asheville.

Our server Izzy did a great job. They were attentive and pronounced the dishes in Vietnamese for us too 🙂

The photos listed have the descriptions of the food we tried. We would definitely be going back if we didn’t live out of town

Super cute and happy inside, lovely and friendly staff, the food was super authentic and absolutely delicious.
I cannot get over how fresh all the ingredients are, it really comes through in the taste. The mung beans they give you to add to the Pho were so fresh and delicious, something you usually add but don’t much notice, was so flavorful it almost stole the show. We got the Pho with brisket and beef, and the meat portions were very generous! The spring rolls were also super yummy, with a homemade peanut sauce that was super rich and nutty. Overall really enjoyed our experience, and am super happy to have this place so close to home!! Can’t wait to try their other dishes

My husband happened to be downtown and stopped into SEN – Vietnamese Street Foods for lunch. He came home talking about how incredibly kind this family-run business was — and when he mentioned that I couldn’t join him, they offered to make me a bowl of pho to go. That small gesture meant more than they probably realized.

Ever since moving to Asheville many years ago, I’ve gotten genuinely homesick for good Vietnamese food, especially a truly great bowl of pho. So when a to-go bowl tastes this good, you know it’s something special.

This was pho done right: thinly sliced beef that cooked perfectly in the hot broth, tender and well-marbled brisket, springy noodles with just the right chew, and a clear, deeply flavorful broth with a gentle hint of anise — aromatic but never overpowering, with that rich umami you want to finish to the last drop. Add the crunch of thinly sliced white onion, bean sprouts, Thai basil, and lime on the side… and when it’s really good, no hoisin or sriracha needed.

It tasted like a warm bowl of home.

As someone who grew up Vietnamese in Little Saigon, Orange County, CA, I can confidently say this is hands-down the best bowl of pho in Asheville. If you’ve ever wondered what truly good Vietnamese food tastes like, SEN – Vietnamese Street Foods is serving the real thing.

Heard about this place from the Asheville Foodies Facebook group. Someone said they’d lived in Vietnam and the Pho at Sen was the best in town hands down. And they were spot on. Bursting with flavor, fresh, healthy ingredients, everything made in house. They had the soft opening four days ago so there’s no menu yet and they take cash or Venmo. I can’t stress enough how happy I am I tried this place. The Pho and spring rolls were phenomenal and the owner and the staff were so nice. I had the beef Pho and my two friends had the chicken Pho. All three of us were in heaven.

I’ve been searching the region for 3 years for great, authentic pho and couldn’t find it until Sen opened this weekend. No need to look any further, this is the only place in the conversation. The quality of ingredients is top notch and the owners are incredibly kind. Wishing them many years of success, we will be back often. Run don’t walk to try anything they are offering.

Smells so good, taste almost as good as it smells. A little expensive for the portion size, but did go on soft opening so might differ. Staff extremely accommodating for party of 13) and kind, truly good service (coming from a server) ♡

Great pho spot in downtown asheville. First time I went was during the soft opening. Loved it so much I came back and made an XL bowl by adding more broth and noodles to my order.

Asheville has been missing a go to pho spot downtown and this fills that void quite nicely.

I’ve been craving pho for days and decided to pop in to Sen and I was NOT disappointed. The food was so yummy. I had the fried spring rolls (with a delicious fish sauce based dipping sauce) and the rare beef pho. Very yummy. They are still working out some kinks (they opened a few weeks ago) so be patient with them as they figure things out!
