I come here every two weeks because it’s by far the best vietnamese place in town, and I’ve shopped around. Try their spicy peanut sate beef noodle soup(#39)! You won’t be disappointed. Service is always super friendly and very prompt! Atmosphere is super friendly, never loud. Very accommodating with gluten free options as well. You’ll see me here with a new friend every other weekend. =]

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Taking my mother out for lunch it’s often difficult to find a place that is gluten-free. Almost the entire menu has the option of being made gluten-free. It was great to be able to order pretty much anything and have it made gluten-free for my mom. Highly recommended.

Our first time on a Sunday afternoon and we were craving for pho. We got our food and it was just okay, nothing stood up. Some of the meat on my wife’s satay grilled beef was hard to chew and the fried rice is somewhat dry, and the sprout looks a bit wilted. Services was a bit slow as well having not much people that time, we got our water refills when we’re done, I guess their busy on the take outs.
I’ve been to quite a few Vietnamese restaurants here at Calgary but this place would not be something that will come up as an option. I know this place can get better.

I had a really lovely experience at Sen Vietnamese Kitchen. The food was well prepared and comforting, with great quality ingredients. I personally would love to see the flavours pushed just a little more in the future, but overall it was still very enjoyable.
What truly stood out was the service, absolutely amazing. The staff were kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. That level of hospitality alone makes this place worth coming back to.

Great spot for gluten free, I usually have no complaints, however, this evening I ordered the #39 gluten free and got home and realized the broth was not labeled, which it always is especially when my order contained multiple #39’s with only one being gluten free. I tried calling and was unable to get through. I drove back to ask to which I was given attitude by the man behind the till telling me all the broths are gluten free and said he thought I knew that. I’ve ordered from this location for 5 years and everything has always been labeled so I did not know that all the broths were gluten free. Also, confused as to why there is an extra charge for gluten free if everything is gluten free according to the man working tonight. I was not offered a new soup as mine was now cold by the time I got home.

Haven’t even left the restaurant yet and felt compelled to leave a glowing review! We tried a few different soups, chicken satay, chicken curry and my 10 year old had the chicken noodle. A+ all the way around!
Great portion size, wonderful service and amazing flavors.

Food is always quick, and tasty. My husband and I have been coming here for almost as long as we’ve lived here – 9 years. We even take our out of town visitors here. We love that they take the time to acknowledge we come here often and know we share our dishes. 10/10 would recommend.

My new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in south Calgary. I’ve finally found a place with an EPIC spicy peanut sate beef noodle soup! And the BEST gluten free pork spring rolls. It’s impossible to find gluten free spring rolls, let alone good ones, but this place has them! THANK YOU for being gluten free friendly and for making such amazing food! You are my go-to gluten friendly lunch spot now 🙂
