The fried yellow croaker was crispy and not oily, and the fish stayed tender inside. Kumamoto oysters were fresh and clean tasting.
The uni pasta was creamy but not too heavy. Sushi was solid overall — the eel and sweet shrimp stood out, and the rolls were put together well.
They also have a sake list, so it’s a nice place to grab a drink and hang out a bit.
The yellow croaker was crispy and highlights the natural flavor of the fish. The fish was tender inside. The oysters were really fresh and the special uni pasta was creamy and not too oily.
The service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff took the time to explain menu items and offer thoughtful recommendations, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The menu was diverse and offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. From fresh sushi and sashimi to hearty ramen. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
Instead, I got their non-deluxe uni pasta ($14.99) and the blue crab hand roll ($7.25). I’m assuming the cream in the pasta is made of uni as the non-deluxe version has no piece of uni at all. There is some roe in the pasta, along with seaweed and garnish. Pasta is a good size for lunch, as I had no leftovers to take home. I was surprised that the blue crab hand roll had very minimal mayo, so yay! Lots of blue crab in the roll, just be careful taking it out of the stand as several pieces started tumbling off the roll when I was lifting it.
Service was okay. Seems like our server was more lively and conversational with the other guests, but maybe it’s a language thing.
There’s two parking lots supporting this plaza so not too hard to find a spot.
