The food and drinks are magical. We got the Za’atar cheese fries with tzatziki and the focaccia bread as an appetizer. Trick was to ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes to mix into the oil for the bread. It was so good!!! Then we ordered a margarita and the ready set go! spritz from the daily specials menu. So refreshing for a summer evening. Finally, we ended with a Greek bolognese pasta dish and the house falafel plate. Everything was just 10/10. We will be back!

Heard great things about this place, so my friend and I stopped by for dinner. The outdoor patio was fairly spacious, but most of the tables (both inside and out) were already full. It was clearly a popular spot with the Somerville and Medford crowd, but the food overall was just decent.

Georgia peach burrata – One of the daily specials. Something I learned this month is that cured meat + peach + mint + burrata works beautifully with toasted carbs. The crispy pancake I had at Stationæry couple weeks ago had this exact same combo, and while I do prefer the texture of the pancake, the grilled focaccia was also a good vessel for these toppings. Only dish I really enjoyed.

Greek Bolognese / Cacio e Pepe – Both pastas were mediocre. Sauces were thin and oddly detached, like they just slid off the noodles and gave up. Not sure if they under-reduced or under-drained, but too watery and bland overall.

Vodka Pizza (with crispy pancetta) – Regret adding the pancetta. Essentially a salt bomb with a grease trap underneath. The crust was just sturdy enough to survive, but had to tap out after two slices.

Eggplant Basil Pizza – First time having eggplant on pizza without tomato sauce, and it kind of confirmed why tomato usually shows up. Mozzarella and basil weren’t enough to bring it to life.

What a cute restaurant!! The atmosphere, food and service were all phenomenal. We ordered two pizzas (the sausage, mushroom and onion was unreal), wings, fries, garlic cheese bread, and a salad from the specials menu. Everything was cooked perfectly. We ordered several cocktails as well that were delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Came in on a weekday for lunch and the experience could not have been better. The Frenched Green Beans were perfectly crisp and so flavorful, pan-roasted with shallots and garlic and very well-seasoned. The Tuna Melt on the sesame braided roll was also excellent, as was the daily special that was the Chicken Kofta Burger. The burger came with a garlic sauce on top that just elevated the dish in addition to the seasoned za’atar fries. The cannoli was the perfect way to end the meal; the shell was perfectly crispy and I loved the ricotta filling as well. Will definitely be coming back with company, and could not recommend this place more; as a recent transplant to the Somerville/Medford area, this is the best restaurant I’ve been to in my time here.

This place is usually booked and you will get a table only 2 weeks later. It’s a really cute little restaurant around tufts medical college and other residential places. They call themselves a mediterranean place, but they do serve pasts and pizzas as well.

We ordered the following:
Appetizers:
1. Cheesy garlic toast – really very tasty
2. Roasted curry carrots – very refreshing, different, and nice
3. House made grilled foccacia – lots of other reviewers recommended this, so we ordered it, but liked the cheesy garlic toast more than this.

Main course :
Cacio E pepe – it’s just pasta in white sauce and some seasoning. They don’t add any veggies to this one. We asked them if they could, but the server was not sure, so we just ordered as is. Pasta was tasty but wished they added so veggies to it.

Dessert:
Brioche bread pudding – this was really tasty at the start, but after a few bites, I felt it was toooooo sweet. Trust me, I am a dessert person , I love trying desserts wherever I go, I have never had such soft bread earlier, but it was soooo sweet, and we couldn’t finish it later.

It’s a really nice place in the area, their service is good, the ambiance is great; but I feel it’s just a little more expensive. I mean, I would not like to pay 26$ for a pasta with just sauce and no veggies. Plus, they add additional kitchen appreciation fees. I know every person working at the restaurant should be compensated, but then, if they are charging so much for 1 dish, then I feel it should cover everything! Why are you adding extra charges? On top of this, you pay tips!
It is like you are forcing customers to pay, I would think twice before revisiting this place since I would not want to overpay unless I know that dish is really worth it!
This place is good trying once if you don’t want to pay these extra charges!

Very nice service from the host and waiter! I had a 2pm reservation on a Sunday and the nice lady checked me in with my wife. She provided an option as a high table or low table. Gabriel was a nice gentlemen who was very attentive, great energy especially it was our first time here.

We had the Cacio e Pepe pasta, Za’atar Cheese Fries and Chicken kabab. Everything was delicious and came on a timely manner! We will return! Plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant.

Semolina and it’s staff are absolutely lovely. From the hay straws, the decor, the plants, and especially their talented staff everything just flows perfectly.

Stopped in for a quick Titos and water, slammed it, saw their cocktail list, and had to have another, decided to go with their Marzano Martini, the tomato water is brilliant, possibly one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in a cocktail and I’ve had many in my lifetime, it nearly brought tears to my eyes.

Before leaving, the bartender was discussing a speed competition in which she competed, that funds raised went towards breast cancer. I quickly signed up to volunteer for the event, as it’s for a great cause.

Overall a great experience in less than 40 mins of my time. Everyone there should be very proud of themselves.
