Travelled here to hear Gould & Jaeger play tonight. Food was delicious and portions were generous. We especially like the fact they don’t use seed oils. Jorge gave us excellent service for the evening! We would stop here again if we are in the area again. Thanks for a great night.

So staying in Monona at a hotel and couldn’t find a place to get fish fry that delivered. And found this location with delivery. Ordered the two-piece cod we could get it baked. One order with sweet potato fries one order with cheese curds. Unfortunately the fish came in a box with no padding underneath or protection so it was kind of greasy and messy sliding around in the Box. The fries were fine they were in a separate box. But the cheese curds were a blob greasy mess. We managed to pull them apart but they were just a big mess. And I had asked for utensils we did not receive any. And the description online said the rye bread which we were really looking forward to and sadly neither order had rye bread. The fish was good I admit it. But other items lacking

Anytime I go to a bar I’ve never been to before, I order plain wings with hotsauce on the side because if your wings aren’t good I won’t eat there ever again. That being said, I Love the wings here. My wife enjoyed the cheese curds. Our waitress, Lexie, was friendly and fun. And the men’s bathroom was CLEAN, which you don’t always get with a bar. Good find.

Great Wisconsin bar! One of the best margaritas in Madison for sure. The Rueben was great, could have been slightly crispier but flavor-packed. The fries were inconsistent, some fully cooked and others almost seemed stale. Overall, would recommend.

I enjoyed my experience here even if it felt like they were relatively new and didn’t have the kinks worked out. I went with a small group during a Friday dinner rush. It only took a few minutes to seat us, and past that, our server was a good level of attentive. They did a good job of answering any questions we had about the menu. After we ordered, our food came out surprisingly quickly for how busy the restaurant was. Generally, the food was pretty good, though my group agreed that the sides were kinda lackluster. Our group’s biggest problem was the atmosphere; specifically sound. The restaurant is divided into two sections, and we sat in the larger, open section. That room is all hard surfaces, and there is nothing in that room to dampen sound. It was loud enough that it was hard to hear the people across the table from me talking. If anyone at the restaurant reads this, please add sound-dampening panels to the ceiling.

Tyler saves the day!
We have been here a few times and have not had a great service experience. It’s close enough to where we live we thought we’d give it one more try and it was a night and day experience .We have to give a shout out to Tyler who gave us phenomenal service. The beer selection was great and the food really good.

Got the walleye for Friday fish fry, everything tasted fine but the portion was tiny. It was one tiny walleye filet and for the price they could’ve added another walleye filet or even a piece of bluegill to make up for the size. We also got the 2 piece cod and that was a better portion size but again the fish seemed on the smaller side. The server was nice, the atmosphere was good but the place was empty on the restraunt seating side(opposed to the bar side).

Let me start by saying that I had the pleasure of meeting this owner, Tim, who has taken over this bar as a new owner. As of October last year, 2023, he’s informed me that he’s had some ups. And downs like most business owners, but if you go inside there, this is truly a hidden gem. With me going to many other establishments, I can tell you that this one. Here is one that you would go to to have a great time. Unexpecting. The atmosphere is so beautiful for one that has gambling. They’re slots, and they have shuffleborn. It has darts. It has a little of everything, with sports tvs that show everything all around you. The lighting with the monkeys above is very charming. The bathroom designs offer a different style. That is very comforting and spacious and offers a great amount of privacy. In addition to this, the seating is comfortable and inviting. allowing many people to sit in this atmosphere. It also has some outdoor patio. Seating, this is definitely a one-stop place where you can have great food and good drinks, and I will say that the hostess was very attentive, not in an overbearing way, but also giving her personal Advice on what was good to eat how she would like them. And I made sure that we had a great time. We will definitely be going back there again. This is a place to go after work. You can go for your birthday. You can go for just bad weather days. You can go for a holiday. You can go for any day and truly. Have a great time and be surrounded by great energy and good people. Also, to add, this is definitely a family place. They do have spacious enough bathrooms for parents to change their children. And should you want to come to host an event here? They have a separate side. They open up, or they do their fish fries. They also have event rooms that you can book out for your special times in your life. So reach out to the owner, Tim. And talk to him about this wonderful place in space. To be able to have a good time with your family.
