I’m from MA (where it’s all ice cream) & this spot is right up at the top by comparison! Flavors are fun & taste just like the description. Staff are friendly & efficient for the large crowds. Couldn’t say anything but how delicious it is & cute! Outside seating is great & park directly across street perfect for the littles.

Amazing icecream place. Make a stop here and you will want to come back! Seating outside and inside. Variety of icecream flavors as well as Sundaes and other options. Candy and Icecream in tubs you can buy to take with you. Playground and park across the street as well and restrooms. Beautiful and relaxing area.

Selma’s Ice Cream in Afton is such a special place for our family—we just love going there! It’s a lovely, quaint little ice cream shop full of charm and nostalgia, perfect for a summer treat. After grabbing our cones, we love heading across the street to the park to play and enjoy the beautiful river-town vibe.
Their Affogatos with Cookies n’ Cream ice cream are my personal favorite—absolutely delicious and such a fun twist on coffee and dessert. My kids are obsessed with the Superman ice cream, especially in the sprinkle cones, which always bring big smiles.
Selma’s is one of those places that makes you slow down and soak in the moment. Highly recommend for a family outing or anyone looking to add a little sweetness to their day!

Super cute ice cream parlor. They offer ice cream nachos! Have never heard of a place that makes waffle chips, so we ordered some to go with my husbands malt. They were awesome & perfect for dipping. Staff was young but very friendly. They have a cute little patio with a covered tables and plants. Selma’s was a perfect pit stop on a gorgeous summer afternoon.

First time in and loved that they had dairy-free options to still enjoy a fun treat with friends. (New to this whole dairy free thing and was pleasantly happy that I didn’t just have to have a water! ) I enjoyed the homemade waffle cone with sprinkles (because you’re never too old for sprinkles!) And tried their ultimate oreo oat flavor. Their icecream comes from a local farm in Wisconsin and is handmade. Love the options for seating outside and I enjoyed the coy fish pond with delightful landscaping. Yay for flowers and sunshine! 10/10 would go again!

I stopped in here after hiking in Afton State Park. The place was buzzing with people so I figured it had to be good. The server recommended “This $&@! Just Got Serious”, and I went with the next best flavor that caught my eye “Rhubarb Crumble”. I was told by another server that the first one was a “sweet and salty explosion” so at that point I had to try it. There is something about ice cream shops where the workers’ vibes are always right. As far as the servers recommendation, they couldn’t have picked a better flavor. This ice cream was spectacular. I didn’t even really remember what was in it, but I did experience the sweetness and saltiness that they were talking about. The rhubarb crumble was also spot on with the flavor profiles. This ice cream was smooth, decadent, and definitely something I would treat myself to again if I was passing through Afton. There was also great seating outside too!
