We ate here for the first time last night and the food was delicious. Good portions and very fresh. The staff were very accommodating of my food allergies, the executive chef even came out to offer me good alternatives. Food came out rather quickly. Cute little place with a different type of menu. My only complaint was that at the end of the night our server took an extended amount of time to bring us the POS machine so we could leave. Luckily one of the other servers saw us itching to leave and cashed us out. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert!

What an incredible experience! My husband and I had our one year anniversary dinner last night at Seler and it was FANTASTIC! We had never been, and we were clearly missing out on this Fine Dining Restaurant
My husband had the Ribeye and I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken both were 5/5 perfection. Between the flavour, portion size and how spot on they were cooked we couldn’t have asked for anything more!!
Our complementary dessert was such a special touch and a wonderful end to an unforgettable dining experience ❤️

Thank you, Marcus, for helping me organize a last-minute staff Christmas party for a large group. When I first started calling around during the busy holiday season, I wasn’t very hopeful—but Marcus made it happen. He was able to accommodate our group, seat us in a private room, and even adjust when additional guests joined.
The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and perfectly balanced. Marcus offered helpful suggestions while still allowing everyone to feel comfortable making their own choices. No one went thirsty, orders were taken quickly, and the food was served promptly.
Most importantly, the food was delicious and everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back!

I visit Thunder Bay every year. First time at Seler. I wanted to eat at a fine establishment. Special dinner with a family member. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant. It has a very welcoming feel.
I ordered the braised ribs. Never ate such a tasty dish. I usually keep away from big meat dishes. But this was so delicious and I meal I will remember.
Our waiter Marcus was well versed in wines and the menu. Offering us good input. The wine he recommended was exceptional. As was the entree. The timing of the service was well paced.

We went to Seler yesterday to celebrate our friends’ birthday dinner & what a delicious and amazing experience for us all. The meals were delicious and the service was great! The wait time for the meals were great and our waitress was lovely. She was able to answer any questions we had about the meal which was great. We will be back! ❤️

My husband Marco and I attended a lovely new year event called a night in Paris, it was magical, the staff was so polite and thoughtful and we were always taken care of. The food is the best we both have tasted in the city. I am picky about my food as I myself have cooked for years, but I was astounded by the flavors it is worth every single cent and more. I got to meet the chef as well, a very nice gentleman from the same region of Canada as myself, we will definitively be returning. Yes, yes, yes!

The food was exquisite! We started by sharing the beet salad. What a sensational gastro-delight it was , featuring red and golden beets, walnut and goat cheese.
We both ordered the short rib and it was divine, so tender and flavourful served on fluffy mashed potatoes with asparagus, parsnips and carrots.
Lastly we finished with toasted coconut creme brulee witch so rich and creamy we literally scraped the ramekin clean!
Our server was Markus and he was professional, friendly, knowledgable and efficient.
We just left Seler and we can’t wait to go back!

This was one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had. Marcus was our server and he was probably the best server I’ve ever had. The food was extraordinary. They are clearly a place that takes pride in providing customers a valuable experience. They were proactive with a reservation challenge we had and made us excited to eat there. They turned around a trip that had other challenges. If you’re anywhere near, make sure you stop and eat here. We will.

Amazing food choice and presentation. Plenty of variety: different kind of meet, fish, seafood, not like a standard menu. Appetizers were impressive.
We had group of three and ordered duck, pork, and steak for main course. Incredible!
Cost some money, but we were more than happy to find such a gem in Thunder Bay.
Highly recommended.

We dined here for lunch, the food was great but the service really stood out. Our server was a younger brunette girl who was super warm and bubbly. Had a great meal here and we’re excited to go back!
