Everything was phenomenal from the moment We walked in, we were greeted with a smile and an array of desserts. Our waiter was very attentive. The food was PERFECT!! The freshly baked bread and labne to start with is such an appetizing start. We had the stuffed dates (to die for), the fried halloumi (amazing), fried cauliflower (a must) and the meat pie. Then we had the tres leches cake, a chocolate mouse cake, the kunafeh (not traditional style but still very tasty). We ate every plate and finished it off with a pot of tea.

By the end of the meal my friends and I were already planning bringing our families back.

Great addition to that shopping center and to our community. Keep up the great work. Best of luck Selda ❤️

Reservation on Open Table 6:45 party of 2 Friday. We’re drawn to establishment based on reviews, our experience was less than impressive including $150 tab with (2) cocktails, food plus tip. Sat pretty quickly when arrived and business inside was brisk so we were optimistic we made a good choice. Menus placed on table with water and bread then we waited. We weren’t sure who was our server? A man sat us and took our cocktail orders, wine and dirty martini plus appetizers grilled eggplant and Cauliflower. The martini was not served dirty, I told my husband to have them redo it but he said forget it. We finally had to flag someone down to take our dinner order and at this point I was not feeling good about our decision to eat here. Husband had Beef Shish he said it was good and I had Ali Nazik, not entirely unfamiliar to me but the meat was tough and undesirable to eat also food lacked sufficient flavor. Not one time was our table cleared so we had multiple plates stacked. Finally a woman came and asked how was our dinner and I said OK, she seemed surprised but didn’t ask me to elaborate. If I’m spending $ I can’t lie about the experience being less than the best. They brought a credit card machine to table we paid and no one came back to table to us to pick up. If they were short staff I’m sorry but our experience is reflected in this truthful review.

I had an amazing experience at this Turkish restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff treated us with genuine hospitality. Every dish was full of flavor — especially the kebabs, which were incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. The fresh bread and mezze were delicious, and the portions were generous.

The service was fast, the place was clean, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. I truly felt like I was enjoying a piece of Turkey right here. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic and tasty Turkish cuisine!

My husband and I are always on the out for new restaurants that are not a chain. Z
Selda does not disappoint! We have been multiple times and th food, service and atmosphere are great every time. I highly recommend the garlic shrimp light bite. Also the bean salad is amazing which comes with many of the dishes. The lamb chops, chicken shish are just a few we have enjoyed. Ask for recommendations from the staff and they will guide you. They are all amazing!

one of my favorite cuisines is turkish and having been to turkey several times, i can confidently say there are very few places in the states that truly compare. this place was absolutely delicious the bread was freshly made and incredible. the eggplant spread (babaganoush) was next level. i’ve had it in many places. this one was top tier.

we also ordered lahmacun and it was so good, it genuinely reminded me of the ones i’ve had in turkey also 10 out of 10.

we finished with the beef shish served with rice, and it was perfection. so happy to have discovered this gem. we’ll definitely be coming back ✨

I had the Mediterranean kebab at Selda Restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing. I honestly don’t remember the last time I had rice and side dishes this delicious in the DFW area. Everything on the plate was perfectly seasoned and tasted very fresh.
The kebab itself was legendary — I ordered the Beyti Kebab, and it did not disappoint at all. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic and flavorful Turkish food!

We went to Selda Mediterranean Restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. It wasn’t too busy, which made it a relaxed experience. Parking was easy, the ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our food also came out pretty quickly.

For appetizers, we ordered the tzatziki, which was excellent and definitely a highlight. We also tried the stuffed dates. This was something new for us. While I personally didn’t enjoy it much, my husband liked it, and it was interesting to see dates served in a savory, salad-style preparation. The halloumi cheese was really good and flavorful, though the portion felt a bit small. It came with only four small pieces, with bell pepper mix underneath. A slightly larger portion would have been nice.

For mains, we ordered Chicken Adana and lamb chops. Unfortunately, both fell short for us. The chicken kebab was dry, not juicy, and lacked flavor. The rice served with it was bland, and the salad on the side didn’t have much seasoning or Mediterranean spice. The lamb chops were also on the drier side and felt under-seasoned. We also didn’t enjoy the rice and peas combination that came with the dishes.

Overall, the restaurant has a nice setting, good service, and some solid appetizers, but the main dishes we tried didn’t stand out in terms of flavor. With more seasoning and attention to juiciness, the food could be much better.

This is my husband’s & my fav date night spot. The place is clean, elegant and charming with a calm atmosphere. All ages are welcome; families, young adult, empty nesters. The staff is friendly, kind and welcoming. Their Turkish coffee is amazing & you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. The food
is fresh, a really refreshing experience because so many other restaurants in the area don’t use fresh ingredients. I’ve ordered an old fashion here and they did not disappoint. The price is very reasonable especially for what you get here. 10/10 recommend

Loved the vibe of this place! The food tastes absolutely delicious — we ordered the Ali Nazik (gluten-free) and Lamb Chops, and both were cooked perfectly. The meat was tender and full of flavor. And whatever you do, don’t miss out on the desserts — they’re truly heavenly! ✨
