I traveled to Warsaw recently for work and eating at Selavi was truly outstanding. The quality of the food is far better than some of the top tier restaurants in the US. It is so good and reasonably priced that we ate every meal this week at Selavi. I will absolutely be going back.

I liked the place. My first time here. The food was nice, quite big plates, as well as the drinks were good. The staff was polite. Inside the restaurant is very elegant and cozy, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Why 4 stars? As said, food was ok, but I would not say wonderful. And, what I disliked really the most: sofa. It’s located so low, that when I received my plate, it was just right in front of my nose. So, you can imagine, it wasn’t comfortable at all to eat. My advise will be: sit on the chairs.

The place looks elegant and neat and our waitress was super nice. The food though, left us a bit disappointed. Shrimp popcorn for starter was very tasty, so was house bread and butter so we were expecting something great for mains, but they weren’t. We chose octopus and steak. While octopus was more or less ok, the steak was tasteless and a bit hard. Chocolate fondant for a dessert was good, but again, we had higher expectations. In general the food is rather overpriced for the quality you get, the staff and ambience – very good.

The truffle pasta was amazing however i must complaint about presentation was a little slow. After taking my first bite of my fish the kitchen staff rush out to pour the sauce. I mean i took photo before eating it was not like i devour my food the moment it reach. Dessert was less impressive as condense milk on frozen raspberry is like deconstructed ice cream but condense milk just dont spell classy to me. Ambience is great though.

Very nice place to have dinner. The food was delicious. Making a reservation is better, if you’re lucky you will get a table on friday evening. I really recommend this place.
