My mom and I were visiting Maryland and decided to stop here for lunch on a whim. We were craving sushi, and this spot was the closest one with the highest ratings.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the sake was served hot and tasted great.

I went to Sekai for the first time and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is spotless and well-kept, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Sitting at the bar, I could see how much care the chefs put into their work. Each roll was crafted like a piece of art. I’ve visited many sushi restaurants across the country, and Sekai truly stands out for the quality, craftsmanship, and atmosphere. I’m excited to return and try more of their menu, especially the ramen once the weather gets colder. For everyone at Sekai, thank you again for the wonderful dining experience! If you’re in the Delmarva area, I highly recommend making the stop for lunch or dinner.

This may be a small-town little Ramen restaurant, but the menu and the taste are not. I really enjoyed trying this place out for the first time. There is plenty of room in the parking lot to find any spot you need, it’s in a strip mall after all. When I walked inside, I was really taking back by how well decorated the place is and the small little details they add to everything. Each booth is separated by wooden walls, and the plates and bowls they serve the food on are all unique.
I’m having a hard time remembering exactly what I ordered, but I know I got the seaweed salad and a chicken appetizer. The salad was incredible, and the chicken was crispy and hot when they served it out to us. We enjoyed spring rolls which were crispy and of course, a bowl of Ramen with chicken. My friend ordered the chicken lo mien, which was completely delicious.
I thought the service was incredible, the server was very attended to every one of our needs. He gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, which is extensive. I was impressed with how well kept and clean the bathroom was as well.

For you true sushi lovers that remembers Sushi de Kanpai or just know great sushi, I have found the BEST place on the shore. Sekai Sushi & Ramen is located in the strip under Salisbury University Housing on Business 13. When you go there, Eason, the Owner and Sushi Chef will treat you like family. Who knows, you might see Mrs. Kumi the owner of Sushi de Kanpai there enjoying some dinner ( she’s there a lot, now that she is retired, enjoying dinner with her husband ). The food is off the chart. Try the Kabuki Roll, Special Scallop Roll, or the Oasis Roll. These rolls are Special Request and are out of this world. But what is even better…. thier Nigri selection is not to be messed with. I have not found a better selection anywhere else. You will not be disappointed.

7/2/25-Alright I had to update my review- I have been back MANY times since my initial review. I have to get their sushi once or twice a week now, if I didn’t have any self control I’d be eating it every single day. They have great lunch specials that are filling and I love how they offer it during the week and on Saturday too. The fish is here so fresh it’s unbelievable. I never used to be a big sashimi person but eating it here, is life changing. I always have to get tuna sashimi- it is so fresh and delicious. I’ve had a few of their speciality rolls -the bagel is my favorite and they are huge and amazing. When I get carry out everything is so fresh, and it’s quick too. My bf just got back from Japan and he was amazed by the atmosphere when he walked into the restaurant to get our order. So far I have tried the sushi, rolls, sashimi, crab Rangoon, and gyoza and there are zero complaints.The staff is always very friendly and courteous when entering the restaurant. I have been recommending this place to all of my friends and family. This is definitely a must go to sushi place in Salisbury. You will not regret it!

The restaurant is super and wonderful! The food was great. I tried the chicken bun it was okay with the vegetables on it but without the vegetables it tastes so delicious. I also tried the chicken noodle with pork chop and it tastes delicious. I would like to come here yesterday.

As a sushi connoisseur, I’ve been trying to find a good place in the Delmarva area since moving here last fall. Sekai Sushi has taken the cake!!!!!! Extremely reasonably priced for the quality of food! The fish tastes so fresh and the presentation was beautiful. Extremely nice staff, very clean, and gorgeous decor. Our bill was way lower than expected, and they even gave us a free appetizer. Will be back many times! Highly recommend
