This wasn’t just food: it was a full culinary experience.

Everything was fresh, healthy, and generously portioned. The sashimi was the best I’ve ever had: silky, clean, and incredibly fresh, with none of that “rough sea” taste. The shumai actually had shrimp inside, and the chicken katsu was delicious with sauces that tasted genuinely homemade.

The atmosphere was calm. With two appetizers and two entrées, the bill came to only $50 for two people. This place is truly underrated, a real gem.

I think it’s my favorite take out sushi nowadays. Yes, we haven’t been served inside but we got multiple times take out and it’s pretty consistent and delicious! You know what is my favorite – it’s Tuna Hako Maki, it’s just what you want from tuna 🙂 Volcano Maki is not what you think it’s better! Try it! Also my child likes chicken, so we get him Chicken Katsu and its generous portion and has sides, a lot of sides: miso soup, rice and sauce, salad too. It seems a good deal for Katsu dish. We tried other rolls too, so it’s good. Definitely will be getting again.

We’ve gotten takeout here a few times and it’s always delicious. Haven’t dined there but the place has a good vibe with a fun futuristic aesthetic. Their sushi is unique with wonderful fresh ingredients.

My wife and I visited Seiko last week and we were very satisfied with the food. I ordered White Tuna carpaccio for appetizer and I got to say that’s my most favorite dish from Seiko. Thinly sliced tuna with a tangy sauce they put in the plate really brings out the flavor. My wife ordered Kamikaze roll and couple other ones. They’re all very good, crunchy and filling. Definitely coming back for more.

Our savior on a late evening. Really friendly staff. Amazing food. All three of us were very happy. Prize to quality wise and also prize to amount wise this restaurant is hard to beat. Would definitely go again!

Seiko had been so consistently a nice experience for dining in and takeout. Even my toddler loves their food. The chirashi bowl is so good!

I went to this place and had a pretty good Miso ramen meal. The noodles tasted good but were a bit mushy, not exactly how I like them. The pork wasn’t as tender as usual, but the smoky, grilled fat made it taste better. The broth was okay, nice and comforting, but nothing amazing. The servers were a little slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Also, if you sit by the windows in the winter, it can get really cold, so I’d recommend sitting away from the door and the street windows when it’s chilly. All in all, it’s a solid spot for ramen lovers, with tasty food and just a few things that could be better.

Decided to pay this spot a visit as part of NoLibs restaurant week, the $25 set dinner was quite worth the price. The set came with a sushi roll, entree, and mochi ice cream.

Sushi roll options were somewhat limited and the actual rolls themselves were nothing special. I also ordered an add on spicy salmon roll but it looked nothing like what I’m used too. Instead of a mashed salon paste, it was essentially a regular salmon roll with some spice added. Interesting choice to say the least.

I got the shrimp teriyaki for the entree and the sauce was quite good, savory and sweet. The shrimp were slightly cold and overcooked though.

The mochj cream was likely store bought, and clearly part of the restaurant week set as I cannot imagine paying more than $4-5 for a single piece of mochi.

Overall, the decor of this place along with the ambient jazz music makes for a nice casual dining spot. Nothing fancy. The food can be decently good so I may give this place a shot again to try the other dishes.
