The vegetarian thalis here tasted fresh and delicious, and the portion sizes are great value for money. The almond milk was the unexpected highlight of our visit as it was rich, creamy, and almost reminiscent of basundi in flavour.

Gurpreet was very welcoming and friendly, taking the time to explain all the thali options, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. The kalakand and gulab jamun were both fresh and absolutely delicious.

The methi matar malai, aloo baingan, and dal makhani were the standouts of the thali, each with a clean, authentic flavour that’s hard to find at many Indian restaurants. The paneer butter masala was a little sweeter than expected, but still enjoyable. What really stood out was that none of the curries were oily or heavy and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. The raita had a unique Punjabi-style flavour with thin slices of cucumber, black salt, and subtle spices that made it especially refreshing. The naans were soft, light, and not dripping in oil.

I should have checked the reviews before making a mistake of shopping at Sehaj wentworthville.
The sakarparas I bought had chunks of solid sugar in it. I can confidently say that they donot know what quality sweets are. I could not believe these people are making fool of customers.
I also end up paying extra 10 bucks because the serving person weighted more than what I asked for and said, it is bit more if that was okay.. Such a poor customer service. Very disappointing.

Bought 500 grams gajar halwa recently. God knows how old was that halwa. Tasted one spoon and chucked it all in the bin with a disappointment. I didn’t even bother to get back to the store with the halwa to make a complaint. Did not wanted to waste my time and efforts for a shop that offers disgusting products to the customers. It literally Tasted like oil and wasn’t made in pure ghee. Never ever ever buy from this store. It’s not about the money. Customers come here with an expectation to buy something sweet for their achievements and get disappointed.
Never visiting Sehaj wentworthville again..

Below is the photo of the gajar halwa i bought from chatkaaz. Now that is what an authentic gajar halwa looks like. May be the chef here should learn some basics from chatkaaz

Bought half a kilo of sweets last week — wow, if you like sugar mixed with lemon air freshener, this is your place! The sweets tasted old and overpriced. Maybe they should take a short course at Sweet Basket or Chatkazz on how to make actual sweets.

My wife ordered Chilli Paneer take away and this is what we got, upon unpacking at home. A half filled container for the full price paid. Pathetic!

Talking of food quality, old paneer used. Dry & hard. Thumbs down

Shameful, making a mockery of a simple Papdi Chat. Mix of namkeen para, hot chana masala, mint chutney, tamarind sauce and RED CABBAGE. What a joke. Pick your game up if you want return customers.

I wanted to share this feedback directly with the owner because I believe you should know how the front-of-house service felt during my visit. The girls working 13 Feb 7.30pm there didn’t seem happy or polite, and the overall attitude honestly brought down the whole experience.

In short I ordered food and having in and was waiting to place a large order of sweets and ask about catering, as it was going to be a monthly catering order for work related. When I finished eating and asked for a bin to throw my container, I was told to step outside, which I respected. However, while I was waiting, both staff members were at the counter and there was only one other customer who didn’t even want to be served at that moment, yet they both kept ignoring me. One walked away when I asked for assistance, another continued serving around me without acknowledging me, and when I finally asked to be served I was told other people were waiting even though they themselves said they weren’t.

As a customer, I would much rather support a business that invests a little extra in staff who bring warmth, smiles and positive energy rather than negativity that affects the whole atmosphere. I had actually planned to place a big order, but after this experience I didn’t feel comfortable continuing.

I’m sharing this respectfully in the hope it helps improve the customer experienc

Do yourself a favour & stay away from this establishment. Bought jalebi, rasmalai, besan laddoo & mathura pedas a couple of days ago. Staff assured me that all were fresh. Sadly, each mithai was stale, hard, with no flavour & far from their traditional taste & consistency. Very disappointing! Won’t be wasting my money there again.
