Sedara Sweets & Ice Cream is a lovely stop for authentic Middle Eastern desserts. We picked up a few sweets, including baklava-style pastries and a semolina-based dessert similar to basbousa, and everything tasted fresh, rich, and well-made. The balance of sweetness was just right, and the pistachio topping added a nice texture and flavor. The packaging was clean and convenient, which made it easy to enjoy on the go.
One thing to keep in mind is that the desserts are quite rich, so smaller portions are usually enough, and prices can feel a bit high if you buy many items at once. Still, the quality makes it worth it.
Tip: If it’s your first visit, try a small mix of different pastries to see what you like best, and ask the staff for recommendations—they’re usually happy to help.

This is a middle eastern dessert shop with all the pistachio, Dubai chocolate, and fantastic service. You start with a sample of Dubai chocolate as you walk in the door. I ordered a variety of desserts because I was having a sweet tooth that day. Does anyone else get home and just take like one bite of everything and leave the rest? Taste testing queen! It’ll get eaten don’t worry. All these desserts reminded me of my time in Turkey.

A middle eastern sweet shop. We stopped by to grab a cup of Turkish coffee, and some
Sweet for us. The big triangular baklava was great, superlative. But not everything was that great. They have Turkish delights too. Some of them are great, and some of them are meh! It’s good if you talk to the staff regarding the taste and your choice. They have ice cream as well, however, we didn’t taste. I wanted to buy a slice of busbusa cake ( cake made with semolina
And syrup) but the staff asked us not to buy that as they are sitting in the counter for a while! I appreciate his honesty. Probably he is not the owner, but he is helping the business preventing any bad reputation. I recommend the place. And the decor of the place is very aesthetic.

This place is so lovely, and the treats are not just beautiful, but delicious! We come here often for date nights or to grab an assortment of things for parties, and it’s always a huge hit. Love it!

Unique Turkisk dessert shop. Also have ice cream. Their specialty is different types and flavors of baklava. Lots of pastries with honey, pistachio, other nuts, and pomegranate. Great decor as well. Will be back.

Delicious delights!!!! A plethora of baklava, a dynamic choice of ice cream, delicious shake options, and coffee and cold drink options make this a must stop. And they are open late, are you kidding me?! This is a perfect spot for coffee with a friend, place to read with coffee and treats, or after dinner sweet spot!

My partner and I stopped in tonight for a sweet treat, and ended up getting more than that haha. Other Turkish delight in the US has not been good. The person we interacted with was so kind and let us try a little piece of Turkish delight which resulted in us buying almost one of each they had left to try. So far, I am beyond satisfied. I love the approach to the menu and the explanation it provides on ingredients and sweetness level. Definitely have to go back to try the sweets we didn’t get to this time. Thank you so much!

I have to admit the ice cream is what caught our eye after going to Mike’s Italian beef next door. Well we did get the ice cream. We also walked away with a number of traditional Middle East desserts.
All of the desserts we got were delicious, including the baklava and the harissa cake. I also got some kind of Iraqi bird nest that involved filo dough and a big pile of pistachios.
The only thing I wish is that they had the price is posted of what you were choosing but rest assured nothing is overly expensive. I think the most I paid was $3 for one thing.
Pick out anything from the counter and surely you will enjoy it. Be adventurous. You can never go wrong with baklava.
Edit: went back here again for the first time after 9 months and it is still amazing. They also posted papers with descriptions of the desserts.

We visited Sedara Sweets to buy Turkish Delight and Baclava and we were not disappointed! They had so many varieties to choose from. Our first visit there, we overheard two other groups come in behind us who were also first time visitors. We’ll be back for more delicious treats!

Super cute space! Lots of selections of ice cream. Took home to bundles of baklava! Staff was super friendly and helpful. My 11 year old was undecided and she let him taste test a couple to help make his decision. The small bowls of ice cream were quite large and exactly what we needed.
