The service was amazing! Thank you to the hostess for helping me find my parents since they went to the wrong seafood place
Overall, we loved the food especially how fresh everything was! There were some small things that we think could be fixed to make everything perfect though.
The smoked mackerel and arugula salad were super fresh and tasty! The baked oysters were rich and creamy!
The dishes that could be worked on were the grilled squid, tilefish, and pasta. We thought the items that were grilled were a bit too salty. I don’t know if this could be from the crust of the grill? Also, the pumpkin walnut agnolotti had a weird filling texture. I think if the filling was completely puréed it would have been better.
Overall, we really enjoyed the service, atmosphere, and most of the food items! Will come again to try their menu again since it changes all the time!

I love Sedalia’s – every experience is memorable and every dish is intentionally unique yet never pretentious. Silvana, Zack and their team have mastered the art of hospitality. Just order the entire menu!

I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was my friends birthday so we ordered the chef’s special. Every course was a filled the senses with different flavors that invoked emotions. First calm and comfort, then a zesty happiness, the embrace of joy, ending with gratitude with an innovative mix of flavors. (There is love and art in every dish.) A truly beautiful experience that I can not describe any better. The service was excellent, food was off the charts and I will be back again soon.

The best experience! We sat at the bar near the kitchen area. Had fun watching the staff prepare and plate. We had oysters, duck, and prawns. The miso butter was chef’s kiss! Gin and tonic was the best I’ve had. Vikki was our server and she was awesome. Will 10/10 go back.

We dined here on Friday evening, 7/11/25. Let me start with my first conversation with Sedalia’s. I called because Open Table said the reservations were full and I wanted to see if there had been any cancellations. A very pleasant and professional woman answered the phone and asked if we would be open to sitting at a counter and if sitting next to each other would be acceptable. I appreciated her asking if that was okay, and it was! Fast forward to our arrival— we were greeted outside the restaurant and shown our seats. I loved our area— it was not in the main dining room, but near the kitchen and bar area. My wife and I loved it because it was intimate and quiet. We started with the oysters (that night they were from Massachusetts and Washington). I loved the homemade hot sauce that was served in a dropper bottle and the presentation. We then shared a series of plates: poached bluefin tuna with charred tomato sauce, olives, and herbs / grilled cucumbers, smoked koji cream, and lovage / New Mexico chili-butter flatbread with mussels and kimchi cucumbers / sorghum semifreddo with a chocolate/nut/salt topping and orange amaro foam.
The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were all interesting, complimentary, and delicious!
For drinks, my wife had a non-alcoholic tonic and soda which was refreshing and I had a nice glass of whit wine from Austria. If you like wine, you will definitely enjoy their wine program! Their main menu changes frequently to keep people coming back.
Glad this restaurant is in OKC! I would definitely recommend going if you enjoy seafood and have not visited there yet. It makes for a special evening. (It is a cozy restaurant so make sure you have reservations before going).

Very small but really good restaurant. The oysters and the other plates were fantastic. The blend of flavors was something that really makes it special. I didn’t think the prices were too high for what you received. The wait staff was extremely efficient and friendly. The only two things that would be considered negative about the experience. First, the dining area has two doors in it. One leading to the kitchen and one leading outside. This happened to be the doors used for the entire restaurant as the wait staff entered the kitchen for the plates and walked through the dining area where we were seated and left the building to go to the 2 other dining areas. The weather was cold outside so a constant breeze was noticeable. You got used to it and kept your jacket on. Lastly, the seats at the tables were uneven and uncomfortable. Both these issues were minor against the.whole experience but some may disagree.
We will return. This is a very nice place with excellent did and a great wait staff. Just a unique layout for dining areas.

We did the preset menu (were there to celebrate a birthday) and it was SO much food. We started with the baked oysters which were very tiny (bite sized) but incredibly delicious. Then we had some focaccia bread + a delightful and refreshing balsamic salad. In addition to the preset menu, we also ordered the mussels and chips and holy cow – I think this was the best item we had. We devoured it. Then we had the scallops & the beef heart. Scallops were delightful but not what you would expect and the beef heart seemed slightly overcooked (very charred) but was fine. Lastly, we had the octopus with crab sauce (perfectly cooked but still quite charred) and the mushroom and potato pasta which was a 10/10. We truly enjoyed everything about the experience I would just say the over-charring of some of the food items may have taken away from the overall flavor as it was very overbearing. But, I would definitely recommend checking out this spot if you like seafood and want to have an intimate and interesting experience! So glad we have spots like this in OKC!

I was told I had to go here, didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing. Small portions but shareable, definitely order a few or 8 like we did. The location was unique, the atmosphere was “interesting” with poor decor and lights that didn’t match their food experience. I wish they would change their indoor dining area for a more elevated look or maybe they’re going for a more approachable look idk.
We did not have anything that we didn’t like but the star of the show was grilled oysters. Service was phenomenal and they helped suggest pairings and explained the menu well. The woman that checked up on us was great. The other Server had basketball shorts??? Once again that could be their theme but you’d expect everyone in a kitchen setting to at least wear pants. Everyone in the restaurant was dressed up.
Seriously amazing food and freshest seafood I’ve had in Oklahoma. Great experience. Good times, even made friends with the table next to us. Intimate setting and great food seriously. Definitely a foodie place.
Limited parking so get there early or Uber. They are very accommodating and it was a great time.

Hidden Gem is a perfect way to describe this experience and place. Not to far from the State Fair grounds in a small metal building nestled next to some beautiful trees sits Sedalia. This is by far one of the best meals I have had in the last year. You can go alone, but I would highly suggest going with a group of people and ordering as many different menu items as possible in your budget. Everything was high quality well made food that will make you happy to be alive. The Bread, the wine selection, the raw fish mixed with the flavors all make for a brilliant experience. This is run by a family of the Chef and hostess along with their you g son. You are greeted with a warm smile and a menu of the evenings options. The menu changes depending on what they are able to get fresh. Ashley took care of our order by memory and we had a blast with her! Please savory this meal. Do not rush it. It is meant for you to indulge your taste buds. Even ones your didn’t know you had.
