I really have no criticism at all for this pizza. The Roni is absolutely delicious with amazing crust and excellent toppings, the ricotta especially adds a lot to it. The staff is extremely friendly, and I really respect the owner who has previously given free food away when SNAP funds were cut. This is a great local spot that has a community feel as the owner and other staff members get to know their customers and check on them. I will happily continue to give money to this place. $25 to split a pizza (6 slices) with my wife which is fair for a pizza of this quality

This pizza is phenomenal. New favorite in town. I love how the cheese crisps up around the edges. We had the spicy sausage and vodka. The sausage is from mayor meats, another favorite spot of mine. I’ve been dreaming about this pizza + ranch since having it!!! The spicy boi was everything I wanted – crunchy, spicy, and saucy with a little bit of sweet. It has been so long since I’ve had Detroit style pizza, let alone a sour dough crust Detroit style pizza. Thank goodness Secret Squares has brought this beauty of a pizza to the area! The staff is also very friendly! While many people ordered take out, they had some seating to enjoy the pizza there. We would be back everyday if we could!

I’m a pizza snob and this is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. Typically I don’t care for deep dish but this is different than that. It has the crunch of thin crust, with airy breading and the most incredible combos of toppings. What a Richmond treasure. Don’t sleep on this place!!!!

Very mediocre. The sauce is poorly balanced, and the pepperoni us not high quality. All in all, this is a very average detroit style that looks better than it tastes. If you’ve had real detroit style pizza from somewhere like Paulie Gee’s, then this will disappoint you big time. But if you’re new to it, this isnt a terrible introduction to the style.

Got the Roni and it was soooooooooo DELICIOUS ! The crust is nice and crunchy on the edges and then soft in the middle. So many flavors, definitely recommend it! Also very, very nice staff! 🙂

In our opinion, the best Detroit style we have had in a very long time! We got 3 the extra cheese, Hot honey pepperoni, & the Rainbow all were good but vodka sauce on the Rainbow stole the show soooo good. And the perfectly caramelized crust we could write a paragraph about, but you just gotta try it. Peace out see you on the couch!

Food is definitely worth the taste. Have to order ahead. The cheese crunch is the best part!! One caveat is that there is less selection on the non pork proteins toppings except the cheese, vegetarian and occasional beef/chicken special.

Every aspect of their pizza is flawless! The dough is a flavorful sourdough. The marinara tastes like real homegrown tomatoes. The cheeses are top quality. Truly great taste. Some commented that the pie is small. Two pieces are definitely more than enough for the average person (a pie easily feeds 3). All the people working there are super nice and talkative, treat you like a friend from the moment you walk it. Zero pretentiousness. Fully recommended
