We were in Downtown Annapolis on August 31st looking for a really good pizza spot and stumbled upon this hidden gem — The Secret Spot Pizza Place. Oh boy, we were not disappointed!
I ordered the vodka pepperoni pizza, and it was absolutely to die for. I really recommend this place. Plus, there’s a Rise Up Coffee right in front of the store, which makes it even more convenient.

Great little takeout spot downtown. We first tried their pizza at the Maryland beer and pints festival… and we knew we had to try a full pie. We ordered the cheese and the vodka pepperoni and both were amazing. Great pizza, quick service, and a great place to walk around while you wait. Absolutely recommend.

We were excited to finally get over to try their pizza. It’s not the best in Annapolis…but it is pretty good. As far as service goes…pretty disappointing. There was a young man at the counter who clearly hasn’t been trained on service/guest relations (I don’t blame him at all)…this is a management issue. As far as atmosphere…the Marketplace is a mess. Is there anyone in charge? The table area / line of sight is a disaster. This is a really cool spot that has a lot of potential…instead it’s an eyesore and pretty embarrassing when you consider the amount of tourists coming through.

The pizza here is the best I’ve had in Maryland. The cheese pizza is awesome, simple yet complex. Best dough flavor and cook I’ve seen in Maryland too. The veggie pizza also was really good.
