Brilliant evening! Food incredible and staff were friendly and welcoming. Wheelchair guests was able to get in with a little help from the ramp (board) staff put out for us, fully accessible toilet (double rails for both sides of toilet). Definitely recommend everything about the place! Can’t wait to return!

Had a take-away from here tonight and Tikka Masarlla sauce was all dry. Sauce was non exsistent.This is the 2nd time I have had this problem with them. Have used them many times in the past and gave them the benefit of the doubt but again its happened..
Was offered free dish next time but that’s not the point. This place was once superb but lately they are slacking and not giving what is asked for and it seems standards have slipped somewhat. I think this place has gone downhill and am not sure if it’s new owners or new cook but the standard has slipped in a big way.
.I shall have different dish next tine for my “freebie” and if that dish is not up to scratch I will be going elsewhere. Am very dislsappointed.

Having visited Secret Spices on a few occasions now, I find myself finding an excuse to travel all the way from Dover, to Margate just to indulge in their delicious, great value food! Upon each visit, the restaurant has not been particularly busy – perhaps this is helped by me visiting during the week, rather than on the busier days such as Fridays and Saturdays. The food however has always been absolutely top notch.
I’ve had Indian cuisine from restaurants and takeaways from around the world and I truly believe that the quality and flavour produced at this outlet really does surpass many others that I have tried, certainly, the best I have had here in the UK.
The restaurant setting is classy and easy on the eye, the seating a little worn, but very comfortable, the service – very attentive, the food – DELICIOUS.
I always look forward to making another visit to Secret Spices, thank you for your great Restaurant!

Myself, my husband and our two friends had a meal here last night. Both couples had a shared starter and we all had a curry each and rice the men had beers and we had wine the food was absolutely delicious!!!!!! And the service was perfect we will definitely be coming back

1st time trying although I’ve been in the area for 5 years, some of the menu items were not what I had expected although having indian cuisine on many occasions. Secret Spices definitely surpassed my expectations and highly recommend the Mushroom Bhaji for those who like something a little different

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I paid £47 for a takeaway order for my family and despite accepting the order, they did not deliver it. I waited 40 minutes past the delivery time to call the restaurant to ask for an update however there was no answer to any of my calls. They also ignored my order query through Just Eat, despite still accepting orders on the app. Absolutely diabolical service. Do not order from here, they will accept payment but will not fulfill your order.

I’ve never written a negative review before and this review is not about the food, it’s about the service. My wife, and all her family, always loves Secret Spices food and excitedly ordered a takeaway this evening through Just Eat. When the food arrived she took it inside as usual, opened up the bag and saw there was a burger box, with a burger company name on it. She quickly ran out to the delivery driver to say it was the wrong order. He seemed polite, understanding and took it away to sort it out. After a while, still no delivery. My wife then phoned Secret Spices to find out where her delivery was and explained what had happened. She was told that the order had been delivered and that the delivery driver was right next whoever the person was that she was speaking to. She said that she had given it back to him and he took it away. Whoever it was she spoke to on the phone, possibly the manager said that the driver said he delivered it and refused to believe her. She was also told that sometimes they do deliver in burger boxes. To my wife’s knowledge she has never had one delivered in a burger box before. She then asked them for a refund as she obviously hadn’t had her food but was told no refund, she had to contact Just Eat. My wife was in tears, and it was near to be a treat for her as it’s been an emotional day. So, I phoned up Secret Spices. I have severe anxiety and find phoning hard but I was determined to try and resolve this. I was told the Secret Spices that she was now crying and I had seen her run out to the driver and give him the food. She was telling the truth and we saw him drive it away. What I found really sad was that man at Secret Spices wasn’t even prepared or willing to listen to me or show any empathy, understanding or apology to my wife. All I was told was that once the food leaves the premises then it’s not their responsibility, it’s the Just Eat company. My wife had to contact them. Now someone isn’t telling the truth, either the Just Eat delivery man or the Secret Spices man. I also tried to tell the Secret Spices man that if it was the delivery man not telling the truth then I was also trying to warn him to not let this delivery driver back in his premises as he will get more people phoning and wanting to know where there food is. It does saddens me to write this but please be aware, if you do buy Secret Spices takeaway food and your delivery, through Just Eat, for whatever reason is wrong and they say they will take it back and sort it, that’s it you won’t see your food or money again. My wife now has no treat, is crying as she feels she’s been made out to be a liar and has lost her money. Shes a well respected local teacher, not some scammer.

Been to quite a few Indian places in the UK. This was by far the best one in the under £75 pp price tag (paid 17.5 pp before adding a well earned tip!).
Staff’s curry was incredible as was the green chicken (can’t remember the name).

Talking about food, it tasted decent. But not authentic. I think they should you better masalas. However, the Poppadoms are really popular here. Must try.
