The best sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups and craft beer in West Virginia! While we do have a pet friendly area, please be advised that this area is OUTSIDE and UNCOVERED, therefore not useable in inclement weather. We only allow ADA Certified Service Animals in our other dining areas. The pet friendly area is adjacent to the restaurant in a grassy, semi shaded area with 6 picnic style tables. You would need to place your order for takeout, then use the pet friendly area. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Had such a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious. The veg sandwich with eggplant was amazing — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The chicken sandwich was just as good, juicy and very satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and well made.
The atmosphere was really nice and comfortable too. But what made the visit even better was Kyle — he took care of us and was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly one of the best service experiences!
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and great service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious sandwiches, and good beers on tap. Our party of four waited 45 minutes to be seated, after reserving our table from the a host who remained seated, while resting his head on the countertop.
In the meantime, staff encouraged us to wait in a covered area with tables and chairs, order drinks from the bar, and showed us where the restrooms were.
We were seated in a back room where it was rather loud, but we could still talk and hear each other. We had ample time to review the menu so we ordered promptly upon being seated. Our waitress was very kind and pleasant, and was able to answer our questions about the menu. Food was slow to arrive, and drink refills took some time but they were very busy this Sunday afternoon.
I enjoyed the Roosevelt sandwich; the added grilled mushrooms were excellent. (Photo included)
My husband ordered the Eisenhower; the cherry peppers were very spicy but he still liked his sandwich. He did enjoy the French fries, and Heinz ketchup.
The included chips tasted a little burned, and did not have a lot of flavor. Although the menu stated pickles were included, we were not served nor offered any pickles.

The atmosphere was classy, yet relaxing and trendy without being pretentious. I absolutely adored it. The bartender was adorable, friendly, and informative. I actually got the Truman sandwich, recommended by a local sitting nearby at the bar. It was to die for. The Moscow mule had an extra kick to it, which I absolutely loved. It’s my new go to if I’m ever in the area!

We hit this place after hiking the long point trail to the NRG bridge viewpoint and it really hit the spot! The hot honey and feta brussels really are worth all the hype and were our favorite thing we had! I got the lady bird sandwich with fries, and it was all good but the pickles on the sandwich were the besttt! We also tried the key lime pie and it was really good, reminded us of some of the key lime pie we had on our trip to key west, definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area!

This place looked good online, but exceeded all expectations. We ordered the brussels sprouts appetizer with feta, hot honey, and balsamic and it was phenomenal. Some of the best brussels sprouts I’ve had. The chips and dip were great as well. The Roosevelt sandwich was great and the pimento fries were good as well. The peanut butter pie was nice as well.

Great sandwiches, thoughtful, well put together. Enjoyed the fries salad and different sauce options. Top notch sandwich shop. Beer good too. Atmosphere nice, definitely a top choice in town. I was very happy. Would totally recommend.

Stay in line, the food is absolutely worth the wait! It’s no secret that the Secret Sandwich Society is one of the best restaurants in Fayetteville, WV. We stopped by after a long day of hiking, and enjoying the National Parks. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and kind service. Everyone seems happy to be here, and it shows! Will definitely be visiting again next year!

Definitely a place to try when in Fayetteville! They have a lot of fun sandwiches on the menu. It was hard to choose which one to get. I ended up getting the Rose Marie and it was delicious. Lots of meat! The potato chips were super crunchy and good. Everyone at my table was happy with their meal.

My wife and I visited the Secret Sandwich Society for lunch today. The atmosphere was pleasant, it was not loud, and the outside seating was great. The service was slow and my wife never had her drink refilled. My wife had the Rose Marie and thought the meat was a little dry but the overall flavor was good. I had the Kennedy and thought the overall taste was good. However, the mustard and mayonnaise was too much and running out the sides of the sandwich. The fries had a good taste. The pickles were horrible with a strong vinegar taste making them inedible.
