This is the chicken sandwich I received yesterday. It’s just a chicken tender. I received two sandwiches like this. The chicken also was soggy and was burnt. Idk how that even happens. The seasoning would have been good if not for the burnt flavor
This place used to be good about a year ago, but it seems like the quality has gone downhill. Last time I came here about 3mo ago I got a burger that had way too much pepper. An inedible amount of pepper. I called in and asked for a refund for this. I never got the refund
I wanted to give it another try and it feels like I got totally scammed. I won’t be coming back. It’s too bad, the place used to be good and convenient

I went here for the first time Thursday after landmark. 1. I love that this place is open until 3am!!! That’s perfect!!! It’s in the best spot for it too!!! I got the 4 PC w/ Sides OG tenders. I didn’t get into them until maybe 40 minutes later. OMG! they were still warm!! i got the hot cheeto cheese fries and those were really awesome. I was full off just two tenders and some fries. this place left me wanting more. I have to come back when the gallery part is open. The art looked really cool. Oh and this place is really inexpensive! I’m so glad I’ve found this place. They gained a regular out of me.

I got in pretty late flying in from Fairbanks through Seattle- I was looking for some good late night eats and stumbled upon this place! Oh. My. God. Literally THE best chicken tenders I’ve EVER had!!! I ordered the CFC (their original flavor, not the hot one), and they were perfectly seasoned, delicious, huge pieces of chicken meat! Look at the pic below (it was only ~$15 for the whole plate!) I’m literally writing this review as I’m shoveling this chicken into my mouth since I can’t stop eating! Also the chef/ owner was super friendly and explained to me what the dish was! I’m legitimately going to ask my company to send me to Milwaukee more on work trips so I can eat here again! 10/10 stars, would 100% recommend if you’re in the Milwaukee area.

My friends and I used to come here weekly and have easily spent over a thousand dollars at this restaurant over time. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped dramatically. On my most recent visit, I was served jalapeño poppers that were burnt, with the breading falling off—completely inedible. They’ve also changed the recipe for the chicken, and it’s just not the same anymore. The chicken was disgustingly coated in a thick slime. The breading fell off easily. They often are out of stock off key ingredients and offer horrible substitutions instead of refunds. What used to be a go-to spot for us has turned into a disappointment. The service has gone downhill too—slow, inattentive, and unwelcoming. After months of loyalty, they’ve officially lost us as customers.

I wanted to try a new local place and discovered Secret Chicken completely by random. The guy taking orders and making food is super friendly. While my food was cooking, he checked in multiple times to make small-talk and see how crispy we wanted our fries.
I got the 3 tender meal with garlic fries and my husband got the BLT Burger. Both very flavorful, and a great smokiness courtesy of the secret sauce!

Inaccurate hours. I stopped here after work to grab dinner at 11:04pm and they were closed, despite the hours saying 3:00am every day. Some reviews also talk about their late hours so I didn’t think twice about it. I will change the review once the hours are changed on Google.
Edit: updating my review because of the speedy reply from the owner. I appreciate the quick response and I’ll be sure to update my review again once I try the food. 🙂
Edit #2: updating my review again because I’ve tried the food twice and I am so disappointed with this second time. The 6oz tenders that I received were only 2.9oz and 3.3oz, and were SO much smaller than what we had the first time. There were barely any fries and the ones I received were soggy and kinda gross, the rolls look like processed store bought ones, and the chicken was over seasoned and still somehow lacking flavor. I have photos, I just don’t know how to post them. The only reasons I’m not giving one star is because the first round of tenders we got were actually appropriately sized. I was so excited for a late night option but I’ll stick with Dave’s.

I’ve been going here for some time and honestly it’s went down hill drastically. Not sure if it’s new ownership but noticed the old cook is not there and you can taste and see the difference definitely not worth the money.
