This tea room was such a lovely experience! The atmosphere was charming and peaceful, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every detail. The tea selection was excellent and everything we tried was delicious. It felt like such a special place to slow down and enjoy the moment. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is absolutely wonderful small and quaint in a home well over 100 years old. the staff is super kind, Ella our server deserves a 10 out of 10 for service and kindness. I can’t say that I’ve ever been much for tea and certainly not High Tea. I’ve always been a grumbly morning coffee type. I went here with my wife while traveling through Vancouver as she’s always wanted the High Tea experience. I was amazed. The service was spectacular. The food was perfect and I drank multiple kinds of tea to compliment the various items. It was AWESOME! I do love scones and those were probably the best I’ve ever had. Make sure you try that Devonshire cream too! Thank you Secret Garden. You made her trip.

As a first timer to “noon tea,” I was curiously skeptical about this place and its offerings. How could such a place slay my unyielding appetite for carbs? Will I meet Paul Hollywood? Will hand shakes be given out casually???
We walked into a very adorable place; very tidy, and had a light-hearted and welcoming atmosphere.
Seating can feel a bit tight if you’re an American sized person like myself. You will, however, appreciate that the house is over 100 years old. The cutlery is cute/dainty and smol, but the food and its flavors are extremely well done. The seasonal pumpkin soup is deliciously savory, the mini sandwiches are extremely generous in the spread and size, and the deserts will satisfy your sweet tooth. That peanut butter truffle cup picture is one the best desserts I’ve eaten in recent memory hands down.
The owner and her daughter served us and were very, extremely polite and welcoming. If you want a new experience, have a couple of hours for an event, please do consider this place.

I took my sister here for a birthday Tea time, it was elegant and delicious! The cranberry salad was beyond divine and we can’t wait to go back. I also stopped in at the gift shop and had a hard time not taking everything home with me. The prices were beyond fair and I wear the dress I bought often. Stop by even if you don’t have time for tea and are looking for a great gift buying location.

For the price they charge, we expected them to do their due diligence in making sure the table was properly set AND everything that should be on the table, to include a properly cleaned spoon, is there! We noticed only 1 strainer was placed on the table and let that slide since we don’t know how they serve high tea. But they obviously knew to give me a proper spoon when I requested a replacement. So to see a charge after we left for a “missing” strainer without making any effort to contact us to verify how many was pu on the table,is calling us a thief! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE & OFFENSIVE!!! We purchased items from the shop which we had problems.BUT TO ASSUME WE TOOK A SUPPOSED MISSING ITEM IS WRONG!!! What proof do you have of any theft from us?! You had our phone number & email, yet you did NOT make any effort to ask us about this! You automatically assumed we took a supposed missing item!
There is an expectation to properly rectify this problem!

I went with a group for the “Wicked” themed tea menu. I was very impressed with the decor and how much detail went into the entire place. The food was equally impressive with so much detail and creativity. I have not been this “wowed” in a while. Highly recommend

The waitresses are friendly. The food is ok, but the experience is the reason to do this. The fanciness and manners are super lovely. Been 3-5 times and cannot wait to do it again.
The only complaints are I smell animal urine when I walk it. My nose is a little extra so this doesn’t ruin the experience and everything is clean, so do not let this deter you in anyway. The tables are cozy, feels more like a European restaurant. We usually go on Sunday afternoon and there has always been a large loud party in the middle.

afternoon tea tower n luncheon, everything they make is delicious. if you have any food allergy, talk to them. they are knowledgeable n give you the best option.

We got the Larkspur afternoon tea, and the food was very delicious, if leaning on the sweet side. They were only offering pickup orders when we went, and the process was kinda interesting. When we ordered, we specified when we would pick up as well as the type and color of car. Upon arrival, we drove all the way to the back where they have an open tent set up. We drove into the tent and then honked our horn to let the staff know we were there (there are signs for this). Someone came out with a few minutes with our order and they were very friendly and wore a mask.
We ordered our tea in tray boxes and the presentation was really good. Everything was laid out neatly with a spoon for the mousse, a cotton lemon scented towelette to the side, a labeled sachet of tea, and heating instructions for the scone on the inside of the box. The sachet of tea also had water temperature and steeping directions for that specific tea.
The Larkspur includes 1 scone with 2 containers of cream and 1 each of jam and lemon curd; 4 sandwiches (egg, cucumber, ham, and chicken); 2 savories (not exactly sure what they were); 5 sweets (sugar cookie, cupcake with caramel icing, cream & peach tart, chocolate & peanut butter thing, and a mousse); and some fruit (pineapple, orange, and grapes). Almost everything was delicious (ham sandwich too salty and one of the savories was very sour) though the entire thing leaned more towards the sweet side. For balance, I would recommend a more earthy tea like the Strawberry Hazelnut (Pu-erh) tea. It was very good and helped counter the food’s sweetness.
Overall, would likely come again.
