I came in on Saturday around noon. Nice, small place. It seemed extremely busy, I think because they had a large group. The server was nice. He brought out biscuits that were crumbly and melted in my mouth. I ordered the Croque Monsieur, which was delicious and not greasy. The food took a very long time, but I genuinely think it was because they had a big group.

This place was phenomenal! We were searching for a restaurant to eat brunch at & this one caught our eye & I’m so glad we went! The service was amazing from start to finish. Everything is made as you order it & you can taste the love poured into to it. The owner/chef also came to talk to us which I thought was lovely. You can see how much work she’s put into her business. All in all, the food was amazing & the people were lovely. I can’t wait to go back to try other dishes!

Very cute & small restaurant! The biscuits that they give as you wait are so soft & warm. The meals themselves were very filling & the chef is super friendly! Would definitely come again or bring friends who are visiting the RGV
*Pics are a bit old, but the atmosphere is still very nice!

Came for Sunday brunch and it was perfection: anyone familiar with the RGV knows that biscuits are lost on most restaurateurs. here, the buscuit (served as table bread), was not only right. It was the best I ever had. a drop biscuit that had a nice buttery taste with slightly crunchy exterior and moist fluffy interior. I had the AVO Benedict and, dang, these flavors and textures were perfection. A nice crunchy whole grain toast base with avocado, perfectly poached eggs and a lightly spiced hollendaise sauce that was not too stiff or too runny. I can’t wait to try more!

DELICIOUS!! Found this restaurant while looking for a different brunch spot, and decided to try it out. Went in without expecting anything, maybe a cute restaurant and ok food. I was in for a surprise when everything we ordered was super delicious. The owner and everyone were super kind and trying to make the best experience for every customer. Please be patient if they happen to be a little busy, it will be worth the wait. It’s a good atmosphere to chat while you wait.

Great place for brunch! First time here and I have to say, we were very impressed! From the delicious scrumptious biscuits, to our carrot cake slice and everything in between. My white chilaquiles were sooo good and a little spicy, the best. Our little one is a picky eater so we ordered the Montecristo Sandwich without all of the fixings for him and he enjoyed it. Our older boys tried the chicken and waffles and the chilaquiles poblanos which were both great. My hubby had the eggs Benedict avocado toast and he said it was very good. They have a limited menu for Sunday brunch but it seems like it was all we needed. Will definitely be back soon to try the weekly menu.

Had chilaquiles with white habanero and chicken. I didn’t know what to expect. Must say. 10/10. They served biscuits (warmed) while we waited for our food. Food took a while to get to us but lady apologized. The two girls in the front were very nice and friendly.

One hidden gem..food was fresh, everything had a personal touch with jams and sauces all made in house. Waffles were perfect..French toast loaded with berries but the best was her scones fresh from the oven! Will surely come back!

What a sweet little place. Very nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and fresh.

We were the only ones in the restaurant and then two large parties came in, but our server still did a really good job considering it was just him serving with help from the kitchen.

I would highly recommend it and we will go back next time we’re in McAllen.

First off the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It was my first time here and I went solo and they were very nice and shared their recommendations. The biscuits and jam given are super tasty and a nice touch. Latte cup is huge so worth the price. The wait time for your food is a bit on the longer side, but it’s made to order, so I don’t mind waiting. I ordered the poblano chilaquiles and the flavor was really good and a big serving, but my eggs were way over cooked (ordered over medium).

The only negative thing I have to say is that although the sitting area is small, it gets VERY warm. I started sweating while seated and it doesn’t help the door is opening and closing so frequently letting in the hot air.
