Second Summit Hard Cider Company is one of the most unique and genuinely fun spots in Millcreek—and maybe all of Utah. The space itself is incredible: a huge, welcoming facility with four indoor pickleball courts, a ton of other games to keep you entertained, and a relaxed, energetic vibe that makes you want to stay awhile.

Their drink selection is impressive. The beers are solid, but the real standout is the hard cider. They’ve managed to offer several on draft that are over 5% ABV—which is incredibly rare in Utah—and they taste fantastic. Crisp, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care.

The food menu holds its own, too. I ordered the pesto grilled cheese with bacon and it completely exceeded expectations. Perfectly toasted, packed with flavor, and served with a bag of kettle chips, which somehow made it even better. It’s the kind of simple meal that’s done so well, you think about it later.

On top of all that, the mountain views from the facility are stunning. The whole place feels alive—in the best way. The crowd is friendly, the staff is warm, and Vicki, one of the owners, goes out of her way to make people feel welcome. It’s obvious she cares about building something meaningful here.

They’ve also packed their calendar with events like live music, karaoke, and charity bingo nights. It’s not just a place to drink—it’s a place to gather, have fun, and feel part of a community.

Highly recommend checking it out. Second Summit is doing everything right.

Love this place! Chill vibes. Very dog-friendly. Lots of seating and activities. Reserving a pickleball court online is easy.

Extremely polite staff that is informative about the liquor laws and made us feel comfortable ordering. Food looked good but we only had cider. Even has board games and pickleball. The bar was clean and quiet enough to have a drink or two.

The staff is awesome! Super friendly and upbeat. The atmosphere is really cool! It’s huge! And they truly have everything you need to have a good time. Indoor and outdoor seating. Free popsicles, board games, pickleball, cornhole. Truly this is the place to chill! Their cider is a littttttttle lacking but they have plenty of drafts from local breweries you can find something!

We love this place. They make really good cheese sandwiches and I’m a sucker for a good cider. A little on the noisy side but it’s more fun hub bub, rather than overwhelming. It’s a great hangout. Kind of an adult clubhouse.

My friend and I, both in our 50’s, were just looking for a fun place to hang over drinks without feeling “old”. While most inside seemed to be mere children, the vibe in this place welcomes all and is genuinely fun and laid back. Good bar/food service, outdoor area a huge plus. Draft cider was better than other place we tried. Pretzel bites a bit too garlicky, but generous portion. If you’re looking for cider and fun i SLC try this place first.

I love this place. This is the only place I’m a regular at in SLC.

Good cider is tough to come by in town, but they know how to make it here. The staff is great and friendly here as well.

Most people think cider is too sweet. If you’re one of those people, the cider from Second Summit will change your opinion.

I really don’t drink beer anymore as it doesn’t agree with my stomach as much but cider, especially from here, I can drink anytime.

The food menu is also delicious. Get the flatbreads for sure. They also started having food trucks on certain days so you’d have to check which ones. I’m pretty sure Saturdays are a regular occurrence though.

And yes, I’m writing this review as I’m enjoying a glass of their cider at their bar .

They also will fill 32oz growlers to go.

I don’t play, but if you’re a pickleball fan, they have four courts under an open-air cover so you can come rain or shine.

What an awesome place to play pickleball. Four courts, nicely spread out, water resistant, friendly atmosphere, good viewing areas for spectators and good drinks for your wait before the next time you jump in for a dink and some volleys, the only reservation was the lighting once the sun goes down. It was hard to see the ball and their lights didn’t really help on court 3. Would definitely recommend the venue and the friendly staff for anyone wishing to play pickleball in SLC
