2nd time eating picking up from here and the food + experience is 10/10 like the first time. The family running the spot is welcoming and warm, and the curries I have had are tasty as ever.
I especially like the spice levels they have. Usually I find “make it hot” never does what I want.
However Second Curry gives the option of

Second Home Indian Curry Take Out is hands down one of the best spots for Indian food in the area. Every time I order, the food is fresh, full of bold flavors, and cooked to perfection. It honestly tastes like something straight out of a home kitchen comforting, authentic, and made with love.
Their butter chicken is rich and creamy, the veggie curry is packed with flavor, and the garlic naan is always soft and warm. You can tell they care about quality in every single dish.

Tried them for the first time today! Placed a takeout order for dinner and they were very quick, 15 mins for a butter chicken. The sauce was very rich and tomatoey, and the portion was very generous, but I just wish there were more pieces of chicken in the sauce. Overall not bad for somewhere very close to home, I’ll be trying again for sure. It’ll be nice to not have to drive 10 mins for Indian food from the Grandview corners area.

Omgosh, we thought we’d give this restaurant a try as we live in the area. We ordered Lamb Palak & vegetable Sabji Miloni both with a puréed spinach base. The lamb was tough & the vegetables looked like they were from a frozen package. It was also hard to tell the difference between the 2 dishes, as you can see from photo. Last time here I’m afraid.

Possibly the only restaurant in the area that puts food first and profits second. I ordered take out for 10 people from Second Home Curry and as usual the food was outstanding. The staff suggested food for us and it was enjoyed by our whole party. Second Home is by far our favourite neighborhood restaurant. So glad they are part of our neighborhood.
