Very good food. We ordered the Prime Rib Thursday night special and the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich. We enjoyed both very much. I would return to try other menu items if we pass this way again.

We found this place a couple of years ago. We love the location, the decor, the service and the food! If it is under new ownership or management, I could not tell. Our last visit was great. Our sever was on point and the food was delicious. We love this place and will be back!

Always felt this restaurant checks every possible box for a good restaurant. Staff and management are always excellent. Something has changed. Our party of four arrived around 6:30. Three of us ordered the usual Friday night dish special. One person ordered the chicken tenders. We were informed they were out of sweet potatoes, baked potatoes and only had two rolls up at the time. The biggest disappointment however was the fish that we always love. There was more breading and fish. The breading seemed to be a different recipe than we were used to getting or as shown in the photos and definitely heavy on the salt. The breading was overcooked and dry. Perhaps there is a new cook or staff. I must say the floors were extremely dirty. Maybe we just came on a bad night or too late. We will probably try again. Just a heads up regarding the situation.

Stopped here on a whim to grab some lunch. It was okay. It wasn’t anything special or memorable. I got half a turkey sandwich and a bowl of french onion soup. It was edible but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it again. My husband got the all you can eat fish fry. He did not go back for seconds. It was soggy (not crunchy or even fried tasting) and had no flavor.
But if you just want to eat something it will do but don’t expect to be amazed. The food looked good on the plate but was average. Maybe the other dishes are better?
**Thank you to the restaurant for responding. I will try again there!**

Worst visit we’ve experienced eating there. Where to begin….Friday Fish Fry .. first piece was great and downhill after. Second order was then extremely thin and crisp over cooked. Breading lacked any taste this time. The fries were great. I order ed the California Burger. Got a classic cheeseburger and brought me 3 little pieces of avocado to put on it. (She did offer to get the correct one but we had already waited 20 minutes) First avocado I ever had that was tasteless. Super cold out of a cooler as well as the tomato that seemed to have been frozen and thawed. Onion rings were an up charge and usually worth it. These were so greasy. Upon paying the bill I expressed to the young cashier that tonight was out worst experience there. She simply whispered “sorry about that”.

What a fun place to eat. Really cool early 60’s decor. Not a giant menu, but something for everyone. Everything homemade and delicious. I had French onion soup (yummy) with a side of really OUTSTANDING fried onion rings (so crispy and light). Great brewed ice tea. Be sure and grab a brownie or a piece of one of the other fancy dessert cakes to bring home for later. Our waitress Nancy provided great service. A wonderful dining experience.

The atmosphere at Sabastian’s Roadside Restaurant is amazing! I can’t stress that enough for this location. As you’ll see in my video and pictures of this restaurant. It is the most unique place I have been in in a really long time. The decorum is of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s for the most part and it is like walking back in time. The staff greet you with plentiful smiles and welcoming gestures. My server was Michele and the Nancy other server on duty were very friendly and always smiling as they both buzzed about taking care of the guests that were there. Joni who is the manager on duty was also engaged with the guest making sure all were well taken care of. Having great staff is one key to a successful restaurant and the other is having great food! I was not disappointed with the quality of my dinner either. I had ordered the Boneless Twin Pork Chops and for the sides I had Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. BTW those potatoes were fresh NOT BOXED along with snow peas. The chops were VERY TENDER and VERY JUICY. The presentation is exactly what you would expect from a restaurant themed for the 50’s Home cooked deliciously and done to perfection. My compliments to the kitchen staff and their perfection of a great home cooked meal. THANK YOU!! To Mr. WRIGHT great concept don’t ever lose that touch!!

Very good home-cooked food served by attentive and pleasant staff. The portions were huge and the price was very reasonable. We ate there twice while staying at a resort in Vero Beach. Will definitely be there again when we come back.

Traveling through the area. Wanted a non franchise restaurant. This hidden local gem was spectacular. Very pleased with our choice to dine here. They serve a real side salad (no bitter micro greens.) Their fried mushrooms were delicious. A large portion that was crusty. Fried clams were perfect.
