This is a nice local spot with an attractive bar and an unexpected dining experience. Let’s start with the menu, a bevy of choices that are much more than your standard “bar” fare. Some stand-outs include the Italian Beef Eggrolls, a hearty salad that accompanies an entree and the meatloaf. Yes, I said meatloaf; served with roasted veggies, garlic mashed potatoes and smothered in BBQ sauce. Comfort food at it’s finest. Seating is a mix of pub height tables and low-tops with these comfy velvet’esque chairs made for lingering over good food & cocktails. Rounding out the vibe is some fabulous outdoor furniture/seating (sad that season is coming to a close), back inside are wall-to-wall TV’s to catch every possible game and a backroom with a pool table and a few slots. The menu has a lot of options. I also like the atmosphere; it’s casual and friendly. I had the chopped salad and my hopes weren’t high, but it exceeded my expectations. They also have a big drink menu and overall don’t play games with prices (unlike another establishment nearby). Lots of TVs, so you can relax and have an enjoyable, unpretentious time. I will definitely go back, and Brookfield is now one of my favorite suburbs. You can get there via Metra in just half an hour from downtown Chicago, walk to this restaurant, then walk around this charming town. The architecture isn’t cookie-cutter, not filled with housing developments nor strip malls. And the people seem really friendly.

Took my wife for a late Valentine’s dinner, first time here and we both enjoyed the food, the service was excellent, and it had a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Will be coming back to check out the bar specials.

Great and fast service! Food delicious, portions huge and the fries come in little cute fryer baskets! Had the bruschetta chicken sandwich and my son had a burger.

The food was amazing, my friend and I ordered an appetizer, salad and a burger. What was very disappointing is the amount of wait time between courses. From the time we placed our food order to when we recieved the burger it was an hour and a half. Somehow everyone around us got the food quickly but not us. Unfortunately this just put a damper on our night, won’t be going back to this location.

An outstanding local establishment for a good meal and cool beverage. Sebastian’s carries a very extensive food and drink menu, with a whole page dedicated to vegan fare. A little something for everyone.
Kelly is the most gracious and bubbly bartender, we always enjoy chatting with her. She always remembers the drink you normally order and often has it waiting for you before you even sit down. She is a joy to be around and we are grateful that she works here.
Our recent visit we enjoyed the 1/2 lb. Fried Calamari appetizer at the bar. My husband loved the chicken fingers appetizer. Kelly made a recommendation to me about the vegan chicken, and I opted for the Vegan Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I’ve never had anything quite like it. The vegan patty was a good portion and was loaded with a tangy yet spicy Buffalo sauce. The “chicken” was juicy and tender – and almost too much like real chicken that I questioned if I was consuming vegan chicken haha. Seriously it was very good.
Plenty of big screen TVs to watch sports. Bonus they have a Touch Tunes jukebox which is always fun to play.
Prices are very reasonable here and you always get great service.

I’ll start with the amazing owners of this fine dining Ale House Restaurant! I give them beyond 5 stars for their Hearts of Gold and excellent service! As we have been Brookfield residents for many years, they decided to reach out to my son and give back to the community. They went above and beyond to host my son’s Terminal Brain Cancer Charity Fundraiser by hosting, donating food, and providing raffle prizes. The staff was very helpful and took great care of our guests. The food is always delicious as Stafa, the owner, is a well-known Top Chef himself! A family-friendly environment, and I will always highly recommend it to family, friends, and the public. Come out and support their locations in Brookfield or Lombard. You won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant is a must visit. The food is excellent and Emily & staff really cares about your experience. We all had burgers and they are excellent. Also the bacon wrapped pickles appetizer didn’t last long. Everyone enjoyed.
A large beer selection list and a warm welcoming atmosphere. We’ve been here before and will definitely be back.

Absolutely disappointed and disgusted! Have been a loyal customer for YEARS and decided to order DoorDash – they completely slashed off one of our items and didn’t include it in the bag. Any establishment with professionalism would have given a call if they were out. Secondly, they sold us raw chicken. My partner is now seeking medical attention due to severe food poisoning. I’m never coming back here, and will be notifying the neighborhood and it’s surroundings. This used to be my favorite place.

The staff was quick, friendly, and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
